Caturday Art

This is Raleigh’s third appearance in just four days. That’s a miracle! He really is not any more social than he has been in the past, but he does show himself more often. Yesterday, he was watching the birds on the feeder outside the bedroom window when I spotted him. I called his name, and he turned around briefly. If I do not get too close to him, I can snap a photo or two, and I am taking every opportunity to do just that.

To turn Raleigh into a piece of art, I used the Sand Dollars effect with vivid coloring from Painnt. To that I added the Crazy Colors XOXO filter at 90 percent from piZap. If you look very closely, you will see the outline of some hearts above and to the left of Raleigh. The frame is from the favpng app.

I have created a jigsaw puzzle from the art.

Sunday Selfies Tomorrow

The days and weeks keep zipping on by. The kids here have been back in school for more than a week. When I was a youngster, summer vacation lasted until after Labor Day. Anyhoo, it is Sunday again tomorrow, which means it will be time to post a selfie and hop. I have no idea which of the Kitties Blue will be your host, but I know it will not be Raleigh!

Calista Jo is the subject of today’s art. Her orange eyes are possibly a bit scary, but when I tried other colors, she looked sort of creepy. She hopes you do enjoy her art.

To create today’s art, I used the 1. CepLOk effect from Painnt. To that I added the Abstract filter from piZap at 70 percent. The frame is from the favpng app.

Caturday Art

I am pleased with how this turned out. I finally purchased the pro version of Painnt, as all the community-created effects have remained locked. By purchasing it for the iPad, I paid $9.99 for a year. If I had bought it for my MAC, it would have been $29.99 per year. It works just as well on the iPad, so that is a great deal, especially if I use it every week for the year.

This effect is “Pink way out.” I bumped the saturation a tiny bit and then selected “multiply” for color, which turned what had been pastel into this vibrant coloration. The heart frame is from the favpng app.

I am dismayed that the year is nearly half over. Tomorrow is actually the last Sunday in June. At this stage of my life, I need time to pass more slowly. Yeah, like that could happen.
