Calista Jo is here to wish everyone a happy and safe Independence Day on the semiquincentennial. She, however, is requesting that our neighbors and city try not to overwhelm Kitties Blue and all the other pets with the fireworks boomers.
To create today’s art, I selected a graphic of fireworks from piZap and overlaid it atop Calista Jo’s photo. Then I decreased the opacity by about 75 percent. The graphic in the upper right corner is also from piZap.
And here is a puzzle. It is actually quite easy to complete!

Sunday Selfies Tomorrow
Here we are with another holiday weekend, which Kitties Blue know will have many of you busy and possibly unable to join us on the hop. But you know how it works. You don’t even have to post tomorrow to join in the fun. The hop will be open for entries through Thursday.
I do know which of the gang will be here tomorrow, but I am going to let it be a surprise. I will say they took a darn cute selfie.

WOW Calista Jo – I hope everyone gets your message – fireworks and noise are NOT required to feel patriotic on the 4th. That’s something in your heart….and the heart doesn’t need noise to celebrate. It will be another hot day with the weather but we hope for a cool, calm night ahead! Happy Independence Day to the Kitties Blue!!

It’s stormy here and more in the forecast for later today, that will certainly put a kabosh on the fireworks around here, and some places have banned them on account of fire dangers.
