Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #91
Each Friday we join our friends, Annie (McGuffy’s Reader) and Ellen (15 And Meowing) for their Friendly Fill-Ins blog hop. They each select two sentences for us to complete. I usually fill-in the sentences but this week Mau and the entire gang of Kitties Blue helped with the task. All of us used teal italics for our completions.
If you’d like to participate in Friendly Fill-Ins, Annie and Ellen post them on their websites each Thursday. To join the blog hop, which takes place at McGuffy’s Reader on Fridays, click on the Friendly Fill-Ins badge.
1. Trust must be earned. We have an inside joke at our house: If someone says, “Trust me,” it is a pretty good sign you shouldn’t.
2. Kitties Blue: I We would protest if Mom and Dad brought in another cat to live with us. Eight IS enough!
3. Mau: I have been in love with Allie since our first date. On November 5, 2013, I asked her to be my girlfriend. I asked her to marry me on April 29, 2016. It was on her birthday. We married on July 23, 2016, in a beautiful ceremony at Cat Scouts.
Well, no…I say, “Trust me.” And, I am trustworthy. I guess I just want to make a point when others are being negative. SO, sometimes, people really do mean it, “Trust me!”
I hope that all is well there, now. I am just busy shoveling snow. We are in a pattern of 2-4″ every day this week. They expect 9″ on Friday. IT keeps me busy! HUGS!
I love you all! Trust me!
Hoping for the best at the vet visit. Sending big purrs!
Those were great fill ins, and we couldn’t agree more with them.
What great fill ins and the pictures of you and Allie are wonderful Mau! She is a beautiful grrl cat! And we will keep purraying for Cooper Murphy and Misty May!

Thanks for the prayers for my Dad. He is doing a little better. We are hoping he will be well enough to have an MRI on Monday and the Drs can determine what treatment they can do. His heart is not in good shape at all. I wish I lived closer to Calgary.
Love Barb
Oh yes, if someone says Trust me or Believe me – we don’t! We’re purring that the eye problems are all cleared up soon!
That engagement picture of you and Allie is one of our favorites, Mau!
It’s funny because just the other night I was telling The Boy that anyone who says, “Trust me,” can’t be trusted.
We hope all eyes are healthy soon!
We can’t even imagine what it is like having 8 cats in the same house. 3 is enough here!
Did you know that I have to type in my name, email and website every time I visit? Wonder why? Anyhow, we all hope the eye icks are at an end, and I know I can trust Chili Bruce to try to eat all of Manny’s food!
I hope all of those eye icks are soon gone for good too.
Excellent answers! Allie is so lucky to have such a romantic and handsome husband. She can’t imagine how she got so lucky!!
The Florida Furkids with tons of love and smoochies to Mau from Allie
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Mau, you are such a romantic guy. And I am praying you are all healthy soon. XO
Those are beautiful fill-ins this week. We’ll purr hard that your eye icks will be over for good and that your Doctor visit goes well today! PURRS….
Those were good Mau and we hope the eye icky stuff goes bye-bye too!
I hope you have seen the end of eye problems at your house. Sending healing thoughts.
We hope you are all done with the eye icks too! And you kitties are right: 8 is enough. We had 5 kitties for a while, plus a dog, and that was at least 2 cats over what should be our limit. 🙂
Oh we are praying Misty May’s eyes are OK…..that eye ick thing has been truly terrible in the Blue household and I’m hoping it is soon OVER FOREVER. Paws crossed! Angel Sammy was so honored to be Mauricio’s “best man” at the wedding ceremony when he and Allie tied the knot. All of our lives should be FILLED with love from start to finish………………
Hugs, Teddy
Hopin dere are no more eye problems!
