A couple of weeks ago, we let Cooper Murphy out on the upper deck. Though under roof, it had a thin layer of snow on it. Cooper had not been in the snow since his rescue as a stray last January 7. We let him out into the snow on that day so he could earn his Let it Snow Cat Scout merit badge.
To achieve the art’s frosty look I selected an effect in the Painnt app entitled, Iced. I think it is a good complement to the snowy-themed photo. I took the brightness down by 40 percent and increased the saturation. Then I added the light aqua border in Picasa followed by the white frost border in piZap and finally another light aqua border from Picasa.

Sunday Selfies Reminder
We know tomorrow is often a busy day for most humans with the Super Bowl, Puppy Bowl and Kitten Bowl all being contested. Bet you can guess which one we’ll be watching. Don’t forget to snap your selfie and join the hop before the festivities and snacking begin. One of the Kitties Blue will be here at midnight to greet you.
We are expecting snow tomorrow so it will be a good day to sit in front of the tube and veg out. Whatever your plans are, stay safe and warm and don’t forget to hop!
You’re a brave kitty, CM! It’s much better to be frosty thanks to a photo editor than for real 🙂
WoW! Cooper Murphy! You look most wonderful! Like a real Snow Cat!
And I bet you were ready to go back inside. Life in the warm is way better!
PS Please tell your Mom that my Mom’s Dad is doing better. We will not know what his next steps are until after his MRI Monday.
Like so many others, the first thing that came to mind was that you look like a wee snow leopard!
Great way to make neato art!
Pawsome! I think you need a few warm Pawkisses to get the cold out of your wintery panter furr 😀 Extra Pawkisses to all of you 🙂 <3
Wow, Cooper Murphy! You look like snow leopard in this art!
We’ll be watching the Kitten Bowl, for sure!
You look us up here Cooper Murphy. We can’t believe we put up with such cold paws outside but we do.
Cooper Murphy, we bet you don’t miss being out in the cold and snow one bit!
That’s fabulous!!! We love the COLD effects (especially since we don’t have to actually FEEL them!)
The Florida Furkids with tons of smoochies and love to Mau from Allie
I really love this effect!
Memories of Eric and Flynn.
That came out great!! He looks like a leopard. XO
OH my I’m sure Cooper earned his badge with that photo art. You spent lots of time and it’s well worth it.
That’s pretty darn cool Cooper Murphy!
Cooper Murphy, you look just like a little snow leopard! Webster sniffed at some snow once, but he wouldn’t go out in it. 🙂
He looks like one of those snow leopards! It’s beautiful artwork. Although he looks a bit unsure of that cold white stuff! 😀
Teddy is right, the art makes Cooper Murphy look kind of like a snow leopard. He doesn’t seem to be as thrilled with the snow as a snow leopard would be, though. Was he glad to be back in the house later to warm his little toes?
My buddy Cooper looks like a SNOW LEOPARD in that first photo!! WOW……! I’ve been out in the snow but Mom forgot to bring along her camera so I could earn my Snow Badge at Scouts. We are supposed to get snow tomorrow night so maybe there’s hope?!
Brrr! Your art made me feel cold!
Pawsome art. And I’ll be there wif a Super Selfie.
