LOOKING BACK AT KITTENS GIULIETTA AND FIONA

Caturday Art

Did you have a great Christmas? We sure hope so. Ours was super quiet. We haven’t even opened our gifts yet. We need to get photos when we do, and the good photographer in the family, Dad, was out most of the day.

We did get Mom to make some Caturday Art for us. We asked if we could share this photo of Giulietta and Fiona taken when they were itty bitty kittens. We thought it would be a nice way to honor our sisfur, Fiona. Mom and Dad did their first SubQ fluids for her today. Let’s just say that they need more practice.

Here are the girls as babies.

BABIES GIULIETTA AND FIONA

Mom did this over a couple of days and doesn’t remember what all she did to the photo. It was all done, however, using Picasa, except the frame that was added in PhotoFaceFun.

ORIGINAL BABY PHOTO OF GIULIETTA AND FIONAHere is the original photo. It is one of Mom’s favorites. She and Dad nicknamed the girls Tribble and Trouble after this photo was taken.

neonThis is our entry in Athena and Marie’s Caturday Art Blog Hop. Hope to see you there. It’s so much fun. We think everyone should join and share their creativity. To do that and/or view the other submissions, click on their badge.

Boxing Day

Not only is this Caturday, but it is also Boxing Day. Mauricio needs to share a “box” photo at Cat Scouts to earn a badge. He asked if he could share it here as well. This is him checking out the box for the new cat tree Astrid and Lisbeth got for their birthday.

Sunday Selfies

Cat4-001That’s right. It’s time for our blog hop again tomorrow. Did y’all take any selfies of yourselves opening your gifts? Whatever you’ve got, we know they will be good. We cannot wait to see each of them. Mom says that one of us will be hosting tomorrow. We can’t say we are excited to hear that!

Enjoy the remainder of your holiday weekend. Have lots of fun playing with your new toys. We’ll be posting about our Secret Paws gifts on Monday, both sent and received.

Purrs and paw-pats, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

AWWW …. those kittens simply steal my heart! How lucky you were to have them and still lucky now. Happy 2016.

McGuffy's Reader December 26, 2015 at 10:17 am

Oh, my…your little girls were (are) adorable. It is amazing how they parallel our sisters Chloe Jo and Grizelda, in age and other ways. Please know my heart goes out to you. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I really am hoping that this can be stabilized and even in remission. I know the issues are always there for Chloe Jo, but as long as she feels good, I am good with that. I know you are the same for your babies. Fiona is in good strong hands that are helping her fight this. And we lift her up in prayer, too. Hugs, my friend. I am here for you. XO

Mom is SQUEEEEING over their kitten photo!!!

Please tell your Mom that subQ DOES get easier. Is she warming the fluids a bit? That helps a lot.

That “baby photo” of Fiona and Giulietta is BEYOND adorable. Look at those cute little faces……we do hope that the subQ process gets easier and easier for you with sweet Fiona. Hoping that she will feel better as she gets more treatments and her meds “kick in”……….also hoping there were lots of HAPPY moments on Christmas Day for all of you in your beautiful house with your beautiful Christmas decorations. We send you lots of love and hugs as always and POTP for Fiona. Oh – and lots of POTH (power of the hug) for your Mom too!!!!!!

Darling! Don’t worry about needing practice for Fiona’s fluids–everyone needs practice, even if they’ve done it before. Just relax–they always pick up on that. Get a pet sitter or vet tech to come in once or twice to help transition you.
