I don’t know how I got so lucky as to be the subject of today’s Caturday Art blog hop after being featured yesterday with my boyfriend, Cat Scout Charles. I am not complaining as I am the most shy of Kitties Blue. I don’t normally socialize with the others or cooperate during photo sessions. Lately, however, I have been making myself a bit more available.
Dad took the original photo on the catio. Mom liked the texture the screen in the background added to the photo, which is why she selected it for our art project.
To create the photo below, Mom added a neon green filter in Picasa. Then she went to piZap and added the “dazzler” filter and the floral border. The final step was adding the mat and frame back in Picasa. That’s it this week—no piling it on layer after layer.

If we have Caturday Art today that can mean only one thing: Sunday Selfies tomorrow. Last week was one of our best blog hops to date. Not only did we have the usual kitties, woofies and bunny purrticipating, we also had humans, geese, a bobcat and a mom and baby kangaroo. It makes us so happy to welcome new friends of all species.
Though we continue to try to visit the blogs of all those submitting Sunday Selfies, we consistently run short on time. As summer ends and fall arrives (if that ever happens), we will have lots more time to visit and comment. Please don’t give up on us in the meantime. Your friendships mean the world to us.
I am sending love and kisses to my handsome and sweet Charles.
Purrs and paw-pats, Lisbeth
