Puzzle Time

As I do not have a Looking Back post for you this week, I have made a bonus puzzle for those of you who enjoy them. I created the art for the puzzle using the A.I. generator from piZap.

Looking Back

This week’s Looking Back post is from January 14, 2013, and if you knew our tuxie boy, “Mau”ricio, you definitely want to check it out. It is entitled, “Mauricio: In My Defense,” and it is a rebuttal to Calista Jo’s “The Kitten’s Choice Awards,” which was our Looking Back post on February 7th.

If you subscribe to our blog, you will already have an e-mail in your in-box with a link to the Looking Back post. If not, you can click on the link above to read it.

Thanks so much for visiting us today. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow when we will return with thankfuls and some poetry.

p.s. If you missed Dad Tom’s birthday celebration post yesterday, Kitties Blue hope you will click on the link at the bottom of this post and check out the fabulous party Stinky & Periwinkle planned for him.

This week’s Looking Back post is a fun one, entitled, “Kitten’s Choice Awards.” It was first posted on January 13, 2024, and has been updated to include some new awardees from among the Kitties Blue. Click on the title to visit the post. The kitties and I hope you will leave us a comment there if you enjoy it.

Those of you who subscribe to our blog should have already received notification of the Looking Back post in your e-mail inbox.

A.I. & Puzzle Fun

PTU POOPER STRIKES AGAIN 💩

Wordlessy Wednesday

Sawyer needed to visit the vet to have his phenobarbital prescription renewed. He never makes a peep to and from or while there. Unfortunately, he likes to leave a gift in the PTU. Things were proceeding nicely until we were one block from the vet office. I won’t gross you out with the details. Suffice it to say, the poop totally missed the pee pad.

PTU pooper: Collage with a grey tabby Manx cat in vet office with vet and vet tech and alone sitting on the exam table.

Sawyer met Dr. McBane for the first time and behaved purrfectly for her and vet tech, Kendall. Other than his seizure disorder, Sawyer is in excellent health. We discussed medication changes to see if we could extend the time between seizures, which is now every week to ten days. Currently, we will not be making any changes, as we don’t want him to spend his life in a stupor.

Though I have shared a few words with you, Sawyer will be joining the Wordless Wednesday blog hop at Comedy Plus. If you would like to join in the fun, click on the WW badge.

Looking Back

As I was only a little wordy today, I do have a Looking Back post for you. It is from January 5, 2013. It is titled, “Fiona Gets Special Treatment,” and features her as well as two other angels, sisters Thelma and Louise. To visit, click on the title. A word of warning, I do have a mini-rant at the beginning of the post about college football bowl games.

E-Mail Notifications

If you subscribe to our blog, you should have already received notice of the Looking Back post in your e-mail inbox.

If you do subscribe but have not been getting our post notifications, can you please let me know in the comments. Dad Tom has not been getting them, and I know of at least one other person who has not as well. I changed one of the parameters on the plug-in with the hopes of solving the problem. If it didn’t, I will rollback to a previous version.

Thanks for visiting us today. We look forward to seeing you again tomorrow.

CHANGE A PET’S LIFE DAY

Wordy Wednesday

Change a Pet’s Life Day

Periwinkle and Stinky had planned to cover Change a Pet’s Life Day yesterday, but after asking so many questions of me, they decided it would be too much for one post.

Periwinkle and Stinky actually came up with the following suggestions of things you can do today to Change a Pet’s Life.

Spend More Time with Your Pet

🐱 playing 🐱
cuddling
🐱 grooming
🐱 going for a walk 🐱 clicker training

Help Shelter Pets

🐱 adopt (don’t forget about the seniors awaiting adoption) 🐱 foster
 🐱 sponsor
 🐱 volunteer

Donate to Rescues/Charities

🐱 goods (food, litter, towels, toys, etc.)  🐱 money 🐱 time/services

Periwinkle and Stinky know each of you can think of even more ways to change the lives of pets. They also know that pet bloggers are some of the most thoughtful, generous and kind people on the planet and want to thank everyone for all you already do to make the lives of pets better.

We cannot leave you without a photo, so here are Cooper Murphy, Audrey, Calista Jo, Raleigh and Sawyer enjoying an afternoon snooze on a cold and snowy day.

The nappers will be joining the Wordless Wednesday blog hop hosted by Sandee at Comedy Plus.

As Periwinkle, Stinky and I have bombarded you with words today, I am not sharing a “Looking Back” post.

Thanks for joining us today. Have a wonderful Wednesday.

I apologize, as I will be unable to provide a Looking Back post this week. I am suffering from an unimaginably bad headache and muscle spasms. I truly do not want to spend any additional time on the computer.

Thanks so much for supporting and following us as well as commenting on our posts. Please join us tomorrow for Thankful Thursday and Thoroughly Poetic Thursday.
