Awww Mondays
Today is Tuxedo Cat Appreciation Day, and we are remembering our three angel tuxedo (tuxie) cats, Daphne, Mauricio and Misty May. We are also celebrating our semi-tuxie (more of a cow-patterned) cat, Lisbeth.
Most of you should be familiar with Mau(ricio) and Misty May but maybe not Daphne. She was the third of the Kitties Blue. We discovered her and her litter mates in the engine compartment of my car.

Sparks
With our three original tuxies being angels, I wanted a Spark about angels. When I found this one, I knew it was purrfect!
The author, Luciano De Crescenzo (1928 – 2019) was an Italian writer, film actor, director and engineer. Between 1977 and 2019, he published a total of fifty books, selling 18 million copies worldwide. His works have been translated into 19 languages and published in 25 countries.
Sparks is the creation of Annie from McGuffy’s Reader. Sparks began as a blog hop, created by our friend. Annie stated when she began Sparks, “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world.”
The Adventures of Periwinkle & Stinky
Tomorrow is that special day each week when Periwinkle and Stinky set out on a new adventure. Periwinkle is in charge of planning what they’ll be doing. I am certain she has something fun in mind, and the tabbies will be looking forward to seeing you over at Friends Furever. Please don’t let them down.

Love your tuxie angels! I’ve been thinking about Bear a lot these past few weeks. I was updating my “about section” and adding “In memory of Bear: 2006-2021” had me in tears. I guess it never gets easier.
