Wordlessy Wednesday
Sawyer needed to visit the vet to have his phenobarbital prescription renewed. He never makes a peep to and from or while there. Unfortunately, he likes to leave a gift in the PTU. Things were proceeding nicely until we were one block from the vet office. I won’t gross you out with the details. Suffice it to say, the poop totally missed the pee pad.

Sawyer met Dr. McBane for the first time and behaved purrfectly for her and vet tech, Kendall. Other than his seizure disorder, Sawyer is in excellent health. We discussed medication changes to see if we could extend the time between seizures, which is now every week to ten days. Currently, we will not be making any changes, as we don’t want him to spend his life in a stupor.
Though I have shared a few words with you, Sawyer will be joining the Wordless Wednesday blog hop at Comedy Plus. If you would like to join in the fun, click on the WW badge.
Looking Back
As I was only a little wordy today, I do have a Looking Back post for you. It is from January 5, 2013. It is titled, “Fiona Gets Special Treatment,” and features her as well as two other angels, sisters Thelma and Louise. To visit, click on the title. A word of warning, I do have a mini-rant at the beginning of the post about college football bowl games.
E-Mail Notifications
If you subscribe to our blog, you should have already received notice of the Looking Back post in your e-mail inbox.
If you do subscribe but have not been getting our post notifications, can you please let me know in the comments. Dad Tom has not been getting them, and I know of at least one other person who has not as well. I changed one of the parameters on the plug-in with the hopes of solving the problem. If it didn’t, I will rollback to a previous version.
Thanks for visiting us today. We look forward to seeing you again tomorrow.

Sawyer, we’re happy you are doing well, save for those seizures.
Balancing meds is tricky. I wish there was more that could be done medically, but I get they have a limited arsenal, although it grows all the time as research is done.
Sawyer, you are so handsome!
Poor guy. My Millie used to do that every single time. XO
I was worried about gifts being left in the carrier for our recent vet visits. Didn’t have any and we were happy about that. I’m glad Sawyer is in excellent health and I agree about not being in a stupor all the time. Not good. You’re a great cat mom.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Scritches all around, a smooch to Cooper Murphy and Sawyer and a big hug to mom. ♥

Well we’re happy about the good report part of this post but that boy certainly does express (haha) his feelings about being in the PTU – I suppose it’s better that he expresses that in the PTU than on the exam table! Tee Hee
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
I’m glad Sawyer got a good report from the vet! I haven’t been getting email notifications for awhile. I’ve just been looking up your site.
I have been getting all your post notifications.
Sawyer looks a bit miffed…but still cute!
Great that his health is otherwise good!
Minko was a PTU mess maker, too…
