Cooper Murphy is presenting two Sparks today; though, the second one is just for fun and not really inspirational.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
Squirrel Appreciation Day
As you know, we have a gang of crazy squirrels at our house that Kitties Blue take delight in watching and trying to attack from inside the kitchen window.
Cooper Murphy is in total agreement with this statement by Terry William Rozier, III, who is an American professional basketball player (point guard) for the Boston Celtics of the NBA. He played two years of college basketball for Louisville before being selected by the Celtics with the 16th overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft.
Sparks began as a blog hop, created by our friend, Annie (McGuffy’s Reader). Annie has been taking a “break” from blogging, so there is no hop. Unfortunately, during this break, Annie has been the victim of a hacker. This has continued to keep her off-line and caused her much distress. Kitties Blue and I ask for your continued prayers for Annie and her family as they try to reconcile this mess and get their lives back to normal.
Many of us still continue to post a Spark on Monday, as we believe in Annie’s vision: “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!”

There’s a reason we refer to sketchy people as being squirrel-y.

Our cats delight in the antics of the squirrels as well. I swear they just know the cats cannot get out and put on a show.
Dalton for sure doesn’t trust those bushy-tailed varmints!I chatter at them but they pay me no heed…sheesh.
They better not dare come on the windowsill where I sit.
NEVER, and I means NEVER trust a tree rat!!!!! sneaky little devils with thumbs! Don’t be fooled by the fluffy tail eithers! Peeps are always taken with the tail….just a distraction, I say!
Great spark. We don’t have squirrels around, my hubby has relocated them all. XO
Beautiful quote. Darling picture of squirrel watching!
Love is all we need, and that includes squirrels…sorry, kitties!
We love both the quotes you shared today, dear friends. Thank you.
Cooper Murphy is right about squirrels. Cooper Murphy is right about everything. He’s my favorite kitty.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

That was a great quote and so true too.
They are sneaky little critters but at least SO FAR they don’t come up on our deck and make faces at me like at your house!!! We love the Sparks message by Dr. Martin Luther King……
I don’t trust skwerrils either.
