CHRISTMAS TREES WITH CHRISTMAS CATS

Caturday Art

Continuing with the Christmas-themed post from yesterday, the art I created today features last year’s Christmas trees. They are placed on either side of the beveled-glass-paned, pocket doors—one in the dining room and one in the living room. The approximately 40,000 lights (between the two trees) bouncing off the beveled glass, adds to the winter wonderland effect. Using PicMonkey I overlaid the tree photo with a portion of this year’s Kitties Blue Christmas card, which we have not revealed as yet. If you look closely, you will see Mauricio’s face to the right of the tree. Four other faces are included, but they are more difficult to make out.

2014 Christmas TreesThe white border was added using piZap and the thin red edging using Picasa. Here’s the original photo of the trees. I am not ready to reveal our 2015 Christmas card yet and won’t ruin the surprise by including it here.

We are joining Athena and Marie for their Caturday Art Blog Hop. If you haven’t tried your paw at creating some art for this hop, why not? It’s fun, and you can’t make a mistake. To join the hop and/or view the other submissions, click on Athena and Marie’s badge.
