LionmauOn May 1, I was one of the first three Cat Scouts purrmoted to the rank of Lion. I was attending an induction ceremony for new Bobcats and Cougars when I was totally taken by surprise along with my Worldwide Wildcat Troop mates, Raz and Gracie. Today we are going to have a big Purrmotion Pawty in our Wolverine Den for Andy and Charles, who were purrmoted to Bobcat, my sweet girlfriend Allie, who was purrmoted to Cougar, and new Lions, Gracie and me.

I have been busy planning this pawty for efurryone, but they don’t know about the pawsome surprise I have planned. I am going to reveal it here, but please promise to keep my secret, okay? Look who I got to send his purrsonal greetings! And look how he has that cool Cat Scout photo on the wall.

I think my successful Lemonade Stand/Bake Sale fundraiser helped me attain the rank of Lion. My fellow Scouts contributed delicious noms for the sale and lots of Scouts donated and pledged green papers. Next week, I will let efurryone know how much we raised to help defray some of the cost of the new Cat Scouts server and site.

The day after the induction ceremony, many of the Worldwide Wildcats took off for an overnight camping/fishing trip. It was planned by our Leader Sammy (onespoiledcat). Many of you have traveled with him on some of his other trips and know what a good planner and tour guide he is.

These are photos of Allie and me on the paddleboat we took out on the lake and of my campsite.

Lots of other fun things have been happening and are planned at Cat Scouts, like today’s Cinco de Meow Pawty. I will report on some of those next week.

If you are not a Cat Scout and feel like you are missing out on Lots of fun, you are. So why not join us. Click here to check it out.

Purrs and paw-pats, Lion Scout Mau

p.s. And remember, purrlease don’t let the cat President out of the bag.
