Thoroughly Poetic Thursday
Time to get creative for Teddy and Angel Sammy’s weekly poetry challenge. I took a bit of “poetic license” with the inspiration photo before writing my poem.
The Flying Ginger Tabby
I’ve always thought it would be fun to fly,
But I wouldn’t do this in a pig’s eye.
Lillian is a true daredevil
If this photo is really on the level.
Nothing is as it seems anymore
With photo editing programs galore.
Can you see there’s a cat sitting on the wing?
With photo editing you can do anything.

Writing poetry is really fun. If you haven’t ever tried it, check out Two Spoiled Cats by clicking on the poetry badge. You can find next week’s inspiration photo as well as Angel Sammy’s poem for this week. He does have an advantage as he selects the photo, but he’s an excellent wordsmith, so make certain you read his poem.
Thankful Thursday
It’s been a fairly quiet week around here, except that Sawyer had a seizure on Tuesday, just eight days after his last one. This makes me more and more thankful each day that we got him home where he belongs, so he can get the meds and care he needs.
I also am thankful I designed and ordered the Kitties Blue Christmas cards this week while they were on sale.
As always, the gang and I are thankful for your support and friendship. That is what makes this entire adventure in blogging worthwhile.
We are participating in Brian’s Thankful Thursday blog hop. If you’d like to do the same, post on your blog for what you are thankful. After doing that, click on Brian’s badge to link up your post.
You are so sweet… Have a nice day
Great Poem Cooper and we kind of like seeing you flying along way up above us all daring the world to say something snarky. We do land on our feet and have nine lives so…
We have been purring and praying for Sawyer and sending some support for you all. Hope they slow down buddy
I am glad Sawyer is home too. Sorry he had another seizure though. Great poem and I love the kitty addition to the photo. XO
That’s a fun poem, bravo! Those are good thankfuls too and we’re glad Sawyer is back where you can take care of him. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Coop, you are my hero!! You are so brave. I believe it was YOU pout there on the wing and not somthin’your mom did.

Hold on tight you two. That is one flying act. Do you have a safety net?
I’m sorry to hear Sawyer had another seizure, but I’m so glad he’s home and not still outside and lost somewhere!
Loved your poem, and what a cute twist on the picture/poetry to edit the kitty onto the plane wing. Kind of a scary picture, I had assumed it was real.
I am thankful that that kitty is photoshopped and NOT on that wing, haha. And thankful for your talents with pics, and thankful for another Thursday of friends and bloggers thankful for so much and wish I could get to Brianshome but safari would not let me, saying there were too many redirected somethings or others.
MOL Cooper Murphy is braver than any of us!!! We’re always sorry when Sawyer has a seizure and are so very thankful that he is home where he belongs.

I LOVED the poem. I assumed it was real as it was a fad back then. BUT it may not have been in this photo. Hadn’t thought of that.
I loved being in the selfies except I forgot how, after all this time, to get the furriends photos over on my page. Still don’t recall. But I’ll make the effort again. Half way is better’n no way.
Sawyer, I am so so glad you are home and safe and cared for again. That was a horrible experience for you and your family. XX
Holy Mackerel – my buddy Coop is flying with Miss Lillian! The highest I’ve ever flown is to the top of my climbing post. We’re sorry Sawyer had another seizure but thank heavens he’s at least HOME when he has them. It was frightening when he was gone wondering if he had a seizure. Well done on the poem AND congrats on getting your holiday cards done. Hard to believe Santa will be here in a couple of months!
Hugs, Teddy
Sure hope no one falls off that plane…how precarious!
Purrs for Sawyer with his seizures, may they be less and less.
