Thankful Thursday
We have a variety of mighty huge thankfuls this week for Brian’s Thankful Thursday blog hop.
Kitties Blue may not be thankful for the following, but Dad Tom and I are grateful for the opportunity to look after these two munchkins.
If you visited our Wordless Wednesday post, you already got a glimpse of these two. Meet No Name #1 (male buff/orange tabby) and No Name #2 (female brown tabby). They arrived here Tuesday evening after I agreed to take them from a friend. I’m fairly certain you are wondering if they are joining the Kitties Blue crew. At this time, that is not the plan, which is why they are unnamed. But only time will tell.
They have not met the Kitties Blue but all are aware of the others. #1 and #2 have a vet appointment tomorrow afternoon. Depending on how that goes will determine if they will be allowed to interact with the permanent residents.
Sawyer actually has the biggest and best thankful of the week. He hasn’t had a seizure in seven weeks! I’m always delighted when the time between seizures is extensive, but it also causes me to be on high alert in anticipation of one.
Stinky and Periwinkle told you that the Cat Writers’ Association awarded them Certificates of Excellence for two of their adventures. If you missed that post and would like to know which adventures received recognition, you can do that at “Happy Tuesday Announcement from Periwinkle & Stinky.” In addition to those C0Es, I am thankful for receiving two others: one for a photo of Kizmet, which you can see at “Krazy Kitten Kizmet’s Toesies & Tailio“and one for a post remembering Giulietta, “Thankful for 11 Years.”
Finally, we are, of course, thankful for your support, following and friendship. It means the world to us.

Thoroughly Poetic Thursday
I must apologize to our wonderful friends, Teddy and Angel Sammy (Two Spoiled Cats), for not writing a poem today. I may try to have one for you and them tomorrow, but I am not making any promises. Along with kitten caregiving, I have three additional projects in the works. But please do not let the lack of my writing a poem stop you from visiting Two Spoiled Cats. Angel Sammy is a masterful poet, and his poems are always worth reading. Click on his badge to visit now.
See y’all tomorrow.
We are catching up! Mom had a furry busy week and I, Marv was so wrapped up in the pawty I did not get the time to go around as much as I should have. Right now I am thankful for quiet Sunday Mornings. The 2 kittens are drop dead gorgeous! Purrs Marv
They are so cute! And that are pawsome news about Sawyer.
Such wonderful, wonderful thankfuls and the no-names sure are adorable. We’re thrilled for the Sawyer news too and big congrats on the Certificates o Excellence! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
What a couple of cuties! It would be hard to say no to those two. But you’ll do what is best for all the Kitties Blue.
Those are some great thankfuls. I am so happy for Sawyer. I’m rooting for 17 weeks and beyond. I bet Thing one and thing two are thankful for you. 🙂
We wondered about the picture yesterday – wondering of it was a kitten photo withCooper Murphy in it…welcome to these two and safe travels to wherever they end up !
And hurrah for Sawyer ! Purrayers he can continue seizure free !
Yay for Sawyer, and concatulations to Stinky and Periwinkle for their award ! #1 and #2 are so cute and look so sweet, can’t wait to know the rest of their story. Purrs
Congratulations on your certificates and hopefully on your new additions. 🙂 And that is great news about no seizures. XO
Way to go, Sawyer. That’s a wonderful thankful.
Aw on these two cuties. You’ll fall in love with them. You just wait and see.
Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday and rest of the week. Scritches all around, a smooch to Cooper Murphy and Sawyer and a hug to mom. ♥
Hooray for Sawyer and let’s hope no more seizures come his way! Those kittens are adorable!
Yay for Sawyer!!! We hope he keeps up the good work.
We can’t wait to see more of No Name #1 and No Name #2!!!
The Florida Furkids with love and whisker kisses to Sawyer from Noelle
Two adorable babies!
You will do what is right for your cat crew and yourselves; don’t listen to anyone else, but I’m singing to the choir.
Purring that Sawyer’s winning streak keeps going.
Oh, yes, we remember that double date very well. It is one of our favorite adventures you guys had. And that picture of Kizmet really is an award winning one!!
Hope the vet visit shows those kitties are well. We can’t wait to hear if you decided to adopt them out, or to adopt them! (We aren’t going to jinx the 7 weeks by commenting, BOL). XOX Xena, Lucy and Chia
Oh those two “littles” are so very sweet and they would certainly give the current crew of Kitties Blue a shake-up which just might be the best thing ever! I know you already have your hands full with caring for kitties but these two – well – just look at those eyes….they say “we would love to be BLUE!”. Paws crossed that Sawyer continues his “JUST SAY NO TO SEIZURES” streak.
Love, Pam and Teddy too
Those kittens are just darling! Squeeee! Many concats on your COE’s! And yay for seven weeks of no seizures!
Those kitties made me think of Dr Seuss’s Thing One and Thing 2, LOL!!!
They sure look sweeter now that they are all dried off and cozy. They have curiosity all over their cutie pie faces!
How wonderful that Sawyer has been seizure free so long, and we pawray it continues.
Congrats on all those honors bestowed on you from the CWA!
They are totally squeeable and gorgeous. I also agree with the numbering until you see how things go!
Thank you for being brilliant and amazing too!!
