Sparks
As I often do, I have a selected a Spark to share that speaks to me.
I have spent my entire adult life trying to live in the moment, but I am easily distracted. I often do not remember things that have occurred due to my mind being otherwise occupied. So, today’s Spark is a reminder for me, and I suspect some of you as well.
The author of today’s Spark, Wayne Walter Dyer (1940 – 2015) was an American self-help author and motivational speaker. His first book, Your Erroneous Zones (1976), is one of the best-selling books of all time. An estimated 35 million copies have been sold.
Sparks began as a blog hop, created by our friend, Annie (McGuffy’s Reader). Annie is taking a “break” from blogging, so there is no hop. Many of us still continue to post a Spark on Monday, as we believe in Annie’s vision: “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!”

The Adventures of Periwinkle & Stinky
This fun-loving, tabby duo will return tomorrow with the next installment in their adventure series. It is Periwinkle’s week to post, and I know both she and Stinky will be looking forward to seeing you tomorrow at Friends Furever.
Distractible?? Nah, not me…um…who am I kidding!
Great spark thought.
I love this spark, Mom Janet. Such a good reminder in this hustle and bustle world!
I think I have that same issue.. Thanks for the good reminder!
That Spark is right on target. Dad says when we have our minds clear and are in the now the negative has no place to come in. Purrs and what a cute Stinky and Periwinkle story this week
Great spark! I can never do this, but I try. XO
Great spark. My problem is trying to see ahead and the many things that could happen. It’s enough to drive a peep to terrible distraction. In order to stay in the moment I must work at it.

Great SPARK Janet! Like you I get easily distracted & sidetracked & I can get caught up in stuff happening in the building where I live. I’ve realized I cant be everything to everyone; not anymore. I HAVE to live in the moment & pace myself….
Boy I hope I remember this tomorrow…..& the next day….& next week, lol….

That was a darn good Spark and a real smile maker of a photo!
One thing about us cats…we do live in the moment. Great Spark!
Life is mega crazypants right now; living in the moment is SO HARD! So, I’m trying to stop and take deep breaths here and there.
Awww, on the sleeping kitties. I love you, Sawyer.
Living in the moment is so important. We miss so much when we don’t.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Big hug to your mom. ♥

Well Teddy has no problem living in the moment – but sometimes as hard as I try I drift to the past or future. I am trying to stay HERE though because it’s really all that matters. Great SPARK!!! We can’t wait to read tomorrow’s Stinky and Periwinkle adventure.
Hugs, Pam (and Teddy)
