Friendly Fill-Ins: Week 12
1. One quirk I have is going through the house turning off lights. I often don’t even look in a room. I just flip the switch and move on. More often than not, I’ll hear a blurted out, “Hey,” as Tom lets me know he’s actually in the room and hasn’t just left the light on and walked away.
2. My favorite comic strip is Bloom County, and I hate that it is no longer written. Opus the penguin was the funniest, and he had a crazy kitty friend, Bill the Cat.
3. I am really happy when one of the Kitties Blue lets me give her kisses and responds in kind. Usually only Lily Olivia and Misty May will return my kisses. Lisbeth refuses all kisses.
4. If I could go anywhere on a road trip, I would go to Savannah, GA, (after the hot summer weather abates). That’s where Mau took Allie on their honeymoon, and I am quite jealous, never having been there.
We are participating in the Friendly Fill-Ins hosted by 15 And Meowing‘s, Ellen, and McGuffy’s Reader’s, Annie. This is a blog hop, and you can add your link on Annie’s blog.
If you missed yesterday’s post, “A Grand Affair,” I encourage you to click on the link below. Mauricio shared another of his poems and several more photos from Allie’s and his honeymoon. They truly are a sweet couple.
Thanks for being our followers. We’ll see you tomorrow for Caturday Art.
I am so sorry that I am late, but it is important that I visit. Life has been very stressful lately. I love your fill-ins and I do read your posts, even when I can’t comment; sometimes it is hard from my smart phone. Thank you for being a part of Friendly Fill-Ins. I appreciate you very much.

Dad turns off the lights here. Mom likes lots of light but dad likes semi-light so he turns the lights off and mom turns them on again. It can lead to some flashing around here.
Mom says Savannah Georgia is beautiful in the Spring. That’s when she was there. Mau and Allie are lucky to go to such a beautiful and historic town.
Shoko
My dad is the one who goes around turning off lights here. He is always moaning at my mum for leaving them on everywhere.
I have a habit of turning lights off as I go by without checking first…but it wouldn’t be a problem if people weren’t leaving the lights on when they’re not in the room to begin with! 😉
I would love to visit Savannah, Georgia – I’ve driven through it, but didn’t actually visit there. Of course it would have to be when there’s not a heat wave. 😉
Have a great weekend!
You are just like the mom! She’s always turning lights off around here. Great fill in answers!
Really cool answers ! Purrs
OMC You would never make it in our house. We have to have a light on in da pawdee bpx room at all times. Me’s ‘fraid to pawdee in da dark. No really. It’s cuz of when our pawrtment flooded and me got sick. Mommy says Savannah is bootyful, but touristy. Hope you have a great weekend.
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
Our mommy turns out the lights on our daddy too! MOL! She’d also like to go to Savannah but not in the summer!
Mom is dreaming of visiting Savannah too and admiring the beautiful houses.
Nice to learn more about you with the fill-ins!
Those were cool answers! I tried, but I couldn’t get down to just one quirk MOL!
Thank you for joining the fill-ins, great answers. I never heard of that comic, too bad they don’t make it anymore 🙁 I have never been to Georgia, but it sounds beautiful. That is funny you shut the lights out. And kitty kisses are the best. Have a great weekend!
I love Opus the penguin too!
We really enjoyed these! I know exactly how you feel with #3. I’ve luckily trained all of my furbabies to accept the kisses. But then I go to my parents’ house, and some of their kitties are anti-kissy, and I have to control myself so that I don’t irritate them. It’s very difficult sometimes. Purrs!
Oh you would LOVE Savannah…..my Mom and Dad sure did……..gorgeous city, fabulous food, beautiful gardens…….anyway, happy that Mau and Allie had a nice honeymoon there! Love your friendly fill-ins too!!
Love, Sammy
Keep trying to give those kitty kisses. My tuxie TC actively pushed me away whenever I tried but after about 12 years, she gave up and accepts my kisses!
The newest member of my house, Munchie loves kisses and gives me kisses in return!
Number 3 – I hear you!!
I lived in Savannah a few years ago! It really is beautiful! Mom loved the old part of town!
Our pawppy has all kinds of books with those Bloom County strips. He loved them too.
We will take/give kisses sometimes, but the king of kisses here is dog-guy, MOL!
