Thoroughly Poetic Thursday
We are begging forgiveness this week from Teddy and Angel Sammy for going off-script with our poem this week. This is the photo for which we were challenged to create a poem.
We thought it was pretty depressing for the week prior to Christmas. And we really wanted to reshare this poem, which we originally wrote and posted for Christmas 2014.
A Cat’s Letter to Santa Claws

So now you know what happened yesterday…a marauding gopher! If you missed yesterday’s post, the link is at the bottom of this post.
We also are sharing this today, as on Mondays we participate in the Sparks blog hop at McGuffy’s Reader, which we think is a good thing for sharing on Christmas Day.
We are joining Thoroughly Poetic Thursday at Two Spoiled Cats. To read Sammy’s poem, which he transmits each week from the Rainbow Bridge, click on his badge. You also will find links in the comments to other blogs with poems.
Thankful Thursday
We also are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday blog hop. Our “thankful” was easy to select this week. No one got in trouble yesterday for the little “oopsie.” And it was not reported to Santa,
If you’d like to tell everyone for what you are thankful, join the blog hop by clicking on Brian’s badge.

A marauding gopher, Bwahahahahaha!!! Yup, he dug a hole, the earth shook under that hole when his tunnel collapsed and voila! Earthquake = Tree jiggling off the table… I knew it!
Pipo likes that poem too, Sawyer! That truck needs a lot of shiny paint to get it into the Christmas spirit!
We just love this poem. We have no doubt that Santa Paws will most certainly not pass you by, Kitties Blue. You are all far too cute and purrfect to be forgotten by Santa. Purrs!
You know…I don;t think any of we kitties have to worry even one little smidge. Santa loves us each one.
That is a great poem, and Santa knows that all kitties are good.
We LOVE the poem! But we’re not buying the gopher story…we wanna see hard evidence first. 😉
What a wonderful poem ! Purrs
Oooh that was and excellent alibi for all those incidents. I cant think why Santa would doubt you at all. Now as to those gophers, do the go well with cream?

That is a wonderful poem , I am sure Santa will bring you everything on your list. XO
Santa loves all kitties, dontcha know? Excellent poem and that photo is a bit dire.
That was a wonderful poem and not getting an oopsie is a darn good thing! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Such a heartfelt poem by the Kitties! LOL! I’m sure it’s all quite true and that all the kitties have been purrfect little angels!
Oh dear friends, of course you did the right thing in reposting your fabulous Christmas poem instead of one about the photo for this week. The photo WAS a bit “unusual” but that’s what we’re aiming for – stimulating imaginations with “off” photos from time to time. This one though is PERFECT for this time of year and we just love it. Thanks for playing Poetic Thursday with us.
Love, Teddy and Angel Sammy too
MOL! Are you sure Binga didn’t write that poem? 😉
See! I KNEW it was a intruuder!!!
And I and Mom LOVE the poem, Mommy wishes that she were more poetic.
