Kitten News
So, I found out on Thursday that the four kittens Barn Cat Buddies will be taking for adoption will be returning to us after their vaccines and surgeries. They will remain here until sometime in January. Many cats and kittens are already awaiting placement at the adoption center, so the kittens will be biding their time here until their turn comes. I love them all and do not want to see them go, but this is a month longer with us than we had anticipated.
Caturday Art
Lisbeth kindly allowed be to photograph her for today’s art. She was toasting herself on the radiator next to the Christmas Tree in the foyer. This is a favorite spot of hers when winter roles around, and it has arrived. (I will share of photo of that later in this post.)

To create Lisbeth’s wintery art I used the Iced effect from Painnt and added warm coloring. To that I added the Galaxy filter from piZap at 40 percent. The frame is from the favpng app.
Here’s a trimmed down version of the art as a puzzle for all the jigsaw fans.
I am sharing the original photo as well just because I really like it.

I made another puzzle as well.

An Early Taste of Winter

This was the view from our kitchen window when we woke up yesterday. As the temperature did not rise above 33 degrees F, this was still the view at 10 p.m. It probably looks exactly the same as you are reading this. The overnight temperature was predicted to be in the 20s. This is about three inches of very heavy, wet snow.
Sunday Selfies Reminder
Not too many Sundays remain in 2025, so please don’t miss the opportunity to participate in week #590 of our blog hop. We’ll go live at midnight EST, but you have through the end of the day Thursday to join us. We always love seeing your happy and adorable faces, so Kitties Blue and I will hope to see you there.
Thanks for dropping by today. Have an exceptional Caturday!

That’s a beautiful picture of Lisbeth
Winter Wonderful Artwork of you, sweet Lisbeth, but to be honest, we prefurr the warm picture, because Granny chilled out when she saw the frosty one🐱Extra Pawkisses for all of you, sweet KittiesBlue🐾😽💞
Lovely art. We hope those kitties find the purrfect homes!
Lisbeth looks super cozy – that tree is GORGEOUS – AND you sure got some beautiful snow there!!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
Wow, a whole. extra month with those little cuties? Thank you for opening up your home to them until they can find their happily ever afters.
We love the winter-y art of Lisbeth, and the original photo is beautiful, too.
Whoa about all that snow! It’s been bitterly cold here, but we’ve only gotten a dusting so far.
Hugs!
It is going to be harder to let them go after another month. Pretty art. Thanks for the puzzles. XO
Well, another month with the hooligans won’t be too stressful…I hope!
Lovely art, and we’ve had snow but the temps stay below freezing so it’s NOT GOING AWAY.
Ugh.
Off to play puzzle to sooth my already winter-weary soul…thanks!
Beautiful photo and art! Winter really has come early this year.
Chaplin: “Ahhh, radiant heat! I am a fan too, Lisbeth!”
Lisbeth looks beautiful and I love the effect you chose. By the way, are you in Roanoke proper? Or suburbs? Gorgeous view.
Love the artwork. The kittens are lucky that have a great place to wait for their forever homes!
We just say NOOOOOO to the white stuff!

Lovely photo of Lisbeth. She looks like an Ice Maiden in the art, very appropriate considering your snow and low temperature.
The trouble with the kittens staying an extra month is that you will become more attached to them! They will be glad to come back to a familiar place after their surgeries though.
Lisbeth knows where the best spot is considering the wintry weather you are having. Thursday to Friday the overnight temp at our house was -1F, Brrr!
Sorry that those kittens have to wait another month…we hope they’ll still be way cute to get adopted quickly!
Love that picture of Lisbeth, very festive! But yikes at that early snow!
Oh, we can’t wait to see the kittens and hope so much that they will be adopted and have good lives. Lovely snowy pic, magical.
