Awww Mondays
Audrey is here to brighten your Monday and help you begin the week with a smile.
We woke very early yesterday morning to discover Audrey and Raleigh running around the house. We thought they were securely tucked into their enclosure Saturday night, but it seems we were mistaken. Later in the week, I will share a photo of what Dad Tom discovered when he went into the foyer, which is where their enclosure is positioned.
We believe the kittens must have run around and explored all night, as when I let them out in the afternoon for their usual bedroom playtime, they slept UTB for four hours!
Cats are opportunists, and kittens are particularly sneaky!
Audrey will be participating in the Awww Mondays blog hop hosted by Comedy Plus. Click on the Awww badge if you’d like to do the same.
Sparks
I am using one of Dad Tom’s recent photographs of the sun rising from behind the Blue Ridge Mountains for my Spark today. I need a little extra strength right now, which I’ll explain in a later post. With new strains of COVID constantly popping up as well as runaway inflation, I think many of us are trying to muster up some extra strength to see us through this difficult time.
Sparks began as a blog hop, created by our friend, Annie (McGuffy’s Reader). Annie is taking a “break” from blogging, so there is no hop. Many of us still continue to post a Spark on Monday, as we believe in Annie’s vision: “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!”
The Adventures of Periwinkle & Stinky
This fun-loving, tabby duo will return tomorrow with the next installment in their adventure series. It is Stinky’s week to plan and post their adventure, so look for them right here tomorrow. I know both Periwinkle and Stinky will be looking forward to seeing all of you.
Cats love the night! They crack me up….hugs to Audrey and Raleigh!
Ha, ha, the kitties played all night!
Yes, we all need new strength and new thoughts right now. Have a great week as we move into September!
Audrey is a cutie. Kittens can be naughty. Yes, we all need that spark right now. XO
Audrey is such a cutie and I’m sure they both had a blast running around all night!
I hope I do not inadvertently miss what they did in the foyer! But I bet it was fun.
Kittens just want to have fun!

Audrey looks so cute in that photo. We love Dad Tom’s photo and the Spark you added.
Periwinkle can’t wait for tomorrow. She’s sorry Artemis didn’t go today and hopes Stinky isn’t too disappointed.
The Florida Furkids with love and whisker kisses to Sawyer from Noelle
Sounds like the kittens had a wonderful time through the night!
Awww, what a great shot of Audrey. She gave me a huge smile. I had to chuckle over how sneaky they are. They are that and much more.
Love the Spark and I never miss the adventures of Periwinkle and Stinky.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches all around, a smooch to Cooper Murphy and Sawyer and a big hug to mom. ♥
Kittens can be very clever when they want to be. 😉
Kittens and their shenanigans are delightful. I love the photo of the sun rising behind the Blue Ridge Mountains, which Btw, is my favorite place to visit. We live about an hour away from the city of Blue Ridge and the surrounding area.
I would love to hear the thunder they make and see the glory of those two precious kittens. What do the rest of the feline family think of all this baby ruckus? Dad Tom’s picture made me homesick.
Oh I just know those kittens had the BEST TIME “on the loose” ! Love the photo of Mr. Tom’s – the Parkway is one of my Mom and Dad’s favorite places to escape to. Serenity and beauty as far as the eye can see. We’re looking forward to P&S tomorrow!!
Hugs, Teddy
Audrey looks quite innocent of mischief…LOL!
That is a very true spark.
Oh, a great spark, anytime, anywhere and yes, your kittens and others light up OUR lives.
Kittens! Always up to something! Gorgeous picture of the Blue Ridge, it always enchants me.
