INDEPENDENCE DAY WITH ANGEL MAU

Feline Friday

You would think that with eight cats, Dad Tom or I would have at least one new photo to share of one of the Kitties Blue. I think with the hot weather, they have all just been melted lumps of fur and not particularly photogenic. So, I went back in the archives again and have a 10-year-old photo of our now angel, Mau. He was so handsome, I thought you wouldn’t mind seeing him. I dressed up his photo a bit for the Independence Day.

Angel Mau will be participating in the Feline Friday blog hop hosted by messymimi’s meanderings. To do the same, click on the badge below.

Friendly Fill-Ins

The Friendly Fill-Ins blog hop is hosted each Friday by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs). They publish the fill-in sentences on their blogs each Thursday. I was totally left to my own devices this week to complete the fill-ins. As usual, I used teal italics for my sentence completions. Any additional or explanatory information is in parentheses.

1. My plans for July 4th include relaxing, reading, riding Peloton and perhaps getting in the swim/spa.

2. I enjoy fireworks. (We usually watch them from our upper deck or I don’t bother and just watch the ones on TV,  which are so much grander than what our city does. This year, for some unknown reason the city had the Independence Day celebration and fireworks last night [July 3rd]. We didn’t find this out until the event was already in progress, so we’ll be watching them on TV tonight.)

3. I’m grateful that I have the freedom to choose where I live, who my friends are and whom I love. (Though, many things in our country are rapidly changing, which will impact how a lot of us live in the future; I think these three things will remain under my control.)

4. I wish I could do a factory reset on my brain. (It is stuffed with so much cr@p I don’t need.)

So that’s it for this week’s fill-ins.

Angel Mau, all the current Kitties Blue, Dad Tom and I wish all U.S. citizens, wherever they might be living, a happy and safe 4th of July.

Thanks for joining us today. We’ll be back tomorrow with some Caturday Art.
