ELECTION 2020 SPARK FOR HEALING

Tomorrow is Election Day in the United States. With this in mind, I felt the need for a Spark representative of the occasion. In researching, I discovered two United States Presidents who were born on this date, November 2— our 11th President, James K. Polk, and our 29th President, Warren G. Harding. Both had some excellent quotes, which I considered for today’s Spark, but I finally settled on this one from Harding.

 

 

I think we all can agree that healing, normalcy and restoration sound pretty good right now. When this election is over, I believe no matter who wins, we can get back to putting emphasis on the things most important to our Nation, like stopping this pandemic and getting our citizens back to work.

Dad Tom and I voted a few weeks ago, as I expect many of you did. But, if you are a registered voter and have not yet voted, please do so tomorrow.

As I’ve been reminding you for months, Sparks is the creation of Annie from McGuffy’s Reader. Sparks began as a blog hop, created by our friend. Misty May could care less about the election. As long as she gets her regular meals, treats and plenty of time in her dad’s lap, she’s somewhat a happy cat.
