Sparks

Once again, I am combining Sparks and Awww Mondays. Today’s “Awww” photo is also the basis for the Spark.

 

 

I know all of you who follow Kitties Blue love and respect animals as I do, and so understand why I selected this for my Spark.

The author of today’s Spark, Sir Michael Andrew Bridge Morpurgo, is an 82-year-old, English book author, poet, playwright and librettist best known for children’s novels. Morpurgo was the third Children’s Laureate, from 2003 to 2005 and is President of BookTrust, a children’s reading charity.

Sparks is the creation of Annie from McGuffy’s Reader. It began as a blog hop, created by our friend. Annie stated when she began Sparks, “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world.

The Adventures of Periwinkle & Stinky Reminder

Tomorrow is the day when our two tabby adventurers, Periwinkle and Stinky, set out on a new adventure. Stinky has invited someone very special to take part in their adventure this week. Consequently, I suggest you join your two friends right here tomorrow. It will make them happy, and Stinky guarantees you won’t regret it. Please don’t let them down.
