Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #39
1. My middle name is Elaine, but I use my maiden name as my middle name.
2. Cats are full of surprises.
This little kitty surprised me yesterday. I caught her saying her prayers after she knocked over an almost empty can of Diet Coke on my laptop. Lucky for her those prayers and a little help from Apple Care had the computer up and running after it dried out. For most of the day, however, I was unable to access the internet or visit your blogs.
3. The Super Bowl doesn’t interest me. However, I will watch the Kitten Bowl.
4. My favourite sport is cycling. Most of you know that Dad Tom and I ride a tandem bike, weather permitting. We have been doing this since 2000.
Friendly Fill-Ins is a blog hop hosted by Ellen from 15 And Meowing and Annie from McGuffy’s Reader. You can join the hop on Annie’s blog.
My sentence completions are in teal italics.
We’ll be back tomorrow for Caturday Art.
Thankful Astrid prayer was answered and your laptop is back in good condition, such a poor innocent cat.
Michael recently posted…..your cat wishes you knew this
We watched all of the bowls, naturally! I was so sad that The Pats won. *augh* But, Bill was pretty happy.
I am still trying to get over this lung issue. I am so very miserable. I hope to get back to normal soon, health and blogging. Thanks for joining us each week. You rock. HUGS!
Geez, these spills just happen….no one’s fault…cans just tip and the liquid spreads. You must understand this. You don’t have to worry about praying….he understands these things. You are a wonderful girl Astrid and so pretty. Sure there isn’t some Siamese in there somewhere.?

Thank Cod your prayers were answered, Astrid. We know it was an accident, so we’re glad everything is okay.
We’re with you about the Super Bowl. We will be watching the Kitten Bowl and the Puppy Bowl, too! 🙂

Astrid, you’re a lucky girl that the laptop was saved. Otherwise, we might never see you! 🙂
From where mommy came from, middle names are always the mother’s maiden name 🙂 So when she migrated here and applied for all the IDs, she was confused 🙂
What fun fill-ins! Thank goodness for Apple Care!
No one could ever be mad with that adorable face. Astrid we are so happy your prayers were answered and your fill ins were great too.
Not all things go better with coke!
Astrid looks so cute, we’re glad her prayers were answered (and your computer saved !). Purrs

Love the photo of Astrid!!! so adorable. Thank goodness your laptop is alright.
I am glad Astrid’s prayers were answered. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I said I don’t like surprises, but I should say kitty surprises are good like when Prancie showed up at our door years ago..and Penny…and Tallulah and Stinky.
I am impressed that you and your hubby ride a tandem bicycle. Have a great weekend! XO
We always love reading your fill-ins! Your #2 is truer than true. And we’re sure Astrid wasn’t in trouble for long, with a face like that. Your #3 is very much like mine, and I, too, will be watching the Kitten Bowl, as well as the Puppy Bowl. That’s the only kind of football for me!
Glad to hear things worked out okay with your computer. What a disaster that could have been! Yay Kitten Bowl!
I guess Astrid’s prayers (and yours!) were answered…….nice that things worked out after the disaster! Love your fill-ins……you and Tom must have a lot of fun tooling around in your tandem. David and I are talking about getting motorized bikes! Happy Friday……….
Hugs, Pam
I’m so glad your laptop is okay – and I bet Astrid is too

Glad da Diet Coke didn’t do any permanent damage!
Aww … look at that angelic face! Who could be mad at Astrid? I’m chuckling because I just commented on another blog where the answer was “I’m not a fan of surprises,” and I quipped that as much as that is true, cats are nothing BUT surprises. But yet, we love our felines dearly and wouldn’t trade them for a surprise-free life 🙂
I love the new background … it’s beautiful!
