I am a feline fanatic. My license plate reads “PRRFCT,” and my blog logo is tattooed on my right calf. I have lived with and cared for 24 cats over the past 40+ years. The Cat on My Head is a website dedicated to the mostly comical and often exasperating antics of eight cats and their sixteen angel predecessors.

Look at those little suckers….actually they don’t look too little. We see squirrels running along the wires but they never stop in this yard….mmm…wonder why?
Oh those squirrels are evil, we tell you! They’re the biggest teases of all!
MOUSES! I mean, chipmunks. I mean.. squirrels?
Purrs,
Nissy
No doubt about it! MOL
Pierre would be in hyper-overload if a squirrel was to dare relax near our yard. I agree with everyone else, they are terrible teasers!
I think we know him! Can we get closer to see fur sure?
Yep, we have those here too. We think they should make those on a stick so we can whap them silly. Purrs…
Oh, just give us one minute with that brazen hussy!
Those things are dog teasers too! Maybe we should unite?
Cute x
Silly squirrels have very little to do all day so they break up the boredom by playing dare with one another, seeing who can get closest to a cat..
That squirrel is such a tease!! They drive us crazy too – sitting in front of the window, “innocently” eating. Sampson says that scaring that squirrel away looks like a job for Astrid! He sends lots of kitty-kisses her way as well. We all send hugs and love.
Squirrels tease my hubby more than the cats- they are always at the bird feeders in the winter. Right now the kitties are teased by the hummingbirds.
I love squirrels, they are so cute, we used to hand feed them when we lived in San Antonio
Squirrels are crazy. This is a great photo of just how silly they can be. I don’t know what cats think when they see them ~ entertainment, play pal, or vittles? Thanks for the smiles & happy WW!!
Those little devils (tree rats my Dad calls them) are definitely cat teasers…..they know how to drive us nuts – chittering at us JUST out of reach up a tree……running faster than even WE can run……warning everybody else in the neighborhood that we’re around……but my Mom loves squirrels so I do too – even if they drive me nuts!
Hugs, Sammy
Ooh, get it get it GET IT!
Every cat should have a squirrel to play with. 🙂
This made me think: How come they don’t make cat food in squirrel flavor?
Let me at it!!!!!!!
Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Best wishes Molly
Did you invite Mr Squirrel in for a playdate?
OMC Meez wanna jump on dat. MOL
Luv ya’
Dezi
Sheesh, how big IS that furry rodent?!?! It looks like it could eat an unsuspecting kitteh!
Is that the evil squirrel that laughs at mes through the sliding door?
Kisses
Nellie
He’s a pretty cute teaser 🙂
Chloe Jo would love this! I sure do. ~xo~
You certainly know how to get our attention!
Be careful, those squirrels can be pawsitively vishus!
Have a wonderful Wednesday, furriends.
Despite their enticing long tails, squirrels don’t do anything for me. Birds, yes. Squirrels, no. But none have ever been very close to my house. Maybe I need to see one close up.
