Sparks
I could not think of a better Kitty Blue to represent this Spark. To us, he is a true superhero. If you doubt that, check out this post: Supercat Sawyer.
When I am not familiar with the author of our Spark, I like to tell you a bit about that person. Unfortunately, I found two individuals named Judy Davis. One Judy Davis is a British actress and one is an American equestrian and Olympian. I could imagine either of them saying this.
Sparks began as a blog hop, created by our friend, Annie (McGuffy’s Reader). Annie is taking a “break” from blogging, so there is no hop. Many of us still continue to post a Spark on Monday, as we believe in Annie’s vision: “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!”
Remembering Angel Prancie
On yesterday’s Sunday Selfies post, we had planned to remember and honor our friend Prancie, from 15 And Meowing. She received her wings and flew off to the Bridge this past Wednesday. Unfortunately, Astrid forgot to include that part of the post. So I am including it here today.
Prancie was a sweet and patient cat, allowing Mom Ellen’s niece, “The Great One,” to dress her up for any and all occasions. And Prancie became famous when her Mom wrote about her in Prancie’s Prayer. It is a must read, and we highly recommend it.
Recently Tabby Cat Club Reporter, Teddy, wrote about her for the TCC newsletter. You can read that article, if you are interested by clicking here.
Prancie, you were greatly loved and will be missed and remembered always.
The Adventures of Periwinkle & Stinky Reminder
Your two favorite, fun-loving tabbies will embark on their next adventure tomorrow. You’ll be able to find them at Friends Furever. I know they hope you’ll be able to take some time out of your day to join them.
That is a great Spark and we love seeing Sawyer anytime he wants to show his purrty face
Sawyer, we think you are a superhero!
such a super cat for sure!
Great quote, and yes, you’re our little hero here in the Cat Blogosphere, Sawyer ! Purrs
Sawyer is truly a super hero. Thank you for this beautiful tribute to my sweet Prancie. XO
Sawyer is our Super Hero too, plus we all love that dude and that was a terrific Spark. We’re are sad about sweet Prancie, sad, sad, sad.
Lucy Davis is the British actress who played Etta Candy in Wonder Woman. Here’s the link: https://www.cosmopolitan.com/entertainment/movies/a9967176/lucy-davis-on-playing-etta-candy/
You know how much I love Sawyer. Cooper Murphy too. Don’t tell the others.
We all love Ellen and all her kitties too. So sad about Prancie.
Have a fabulous day and week, Janet. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to all the kitties. ♥
Such a positive message today, and definitely in the spirit of Annie. I miss reading McGuffy’s Reader, but I hope she is well and enjoying her current endeavors.
And we forget that our time on Earth is brief, and we must make the best of it while we are still here.
We have the sads for Angel Prancie; I sent a note to the Pilch Family.
Sawyer, you are a superhero…after all you’ve been through.
Dear Sawyer,
You are a real Super Hero to me!!! I am looking forward to our adventure tomorrow!
Paw pats and whisker kisses,
Noelle
ps – Allie sends smoochies and love to Mau
Sawyer makes a wonderful Superhero.
I was going to say he needs a cape but then I clicked the link and saw it.
Sawyer is absolutely a hero and a very brave little guy who in his short life has been through a LOT – we continue to be so happy that he ended up being part of the Kitties Blue family because with his seizure disorder he could NOT be in better hands! We look forward to the next adventure for the Intrepid Duo!!!!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
Yes, we are all heroes in our own right, aren’t we?!
Sawyer for sure is heroic, he has conquered much.
Prancie will be sorely missed.
