A SPRINGTIME SUNDAY SELFIE WITH MR. SHEEP

Sunday Selfies: Week #87

As promised, we have a guest host for Sunday Selfies this week. We are all happy to have the week off. Our host is a real cutie; though, not as cute as any of us. Anyhoo, we’d like to introduce you to Mr. Sheep.

Sheep Selfie

Our Dad met this sheep when he was on a photo outing with one of the camera clubs of which he’s a member. He was at Booker T. Washington National Park in Hardy, Virginia. When this floofy guy spotted our dad and his camera he overcame his shyness and asked for a selfie. Our dad couldn’t turn down this sweet-faced fellow. Did you notice that he has cat-shaped ears? Wonder how he’d look if they were on the top of his head?

We haven’t had a guest host in ages and ages so we are happy to have Mr. Sheep joining us. We are all lying around like lumps today (Saturday as we write). It is a cold day, and we’ve had snow showers for a good portion of it. Pffft! At first Mom thought it was just the crazy strong winds blowing blooms off the trees, but it was SNOW. We are pleased to report that it didn’t stick to anything. We want real spring and hour-upon-hour of catio time.

Cat4-001Mr. Sheep and all of us are inviting you to join in the fun of our Sunday Selfies Blog Hop. The link to add your post is below as is the code to add the hop to your blog. Should you decide to do that, please link back to The Cat on My Head and/or display our badge.

All anipals are welcome to join, including the human ones if they so desire. Our mom particularly likes the selfies that include a human. She enjoys seeing the love between pet parents and their furry children.

Wishing everyone an easy and happy Sunday.

MOOEY CHRISTMAS SELFIE

Sunday Selfies: Week 71

Yippee…we have a guest host for this week’s blog hop. This is our last hop prior to Christmas, so we fancied it up a bit.

Mooey Christmas Selfie

Look at that mug! Now that is up close and personal. But this mooey selfie taker was almost upstaged by an itty bitty, fuzzy photobomber. Do you see him?

This big-eyed beauty nosed up to our dad at the Frontier Culture Museum in Staunton, VA, and asked to take a selfie. Little did she know their was an interloper on the other side of the fence. We don’t think she realized she had that piece of straw stuck up her nose either.

So, that’s our guest host for this week. We know it is the busiest time of year for everybody, but we sure hope you can take a minute or two to take a selfie and share it with us.

Cat4-001The link to add your selfie is below as is the code to add the hop to your blog. If you decide to do this, please link back to The Cat on My Head and/or display our badge. Each week we try to visit everybody who enters, but sometimes we don’t make it to all your blogs. We are sincerely sorry for this and do hope that others are visiting. Thanks for being our friends and supporting our hop.

CANADIAN DONKEY HOSTS SUNDAY SELFIES

Sunday Selfies: Week #68

Canadian Donkey does Sunday Selfies

This donkey was looking for a handout, but he had to pay for his meal of two apples. How? By taking some selfies, of course. Dad set the timer up for him.

Donkey took his selfies when Mom and Dad were in Quebec City a few years ago. He was living in a church yard. Mom dug around in the photo archives to find him after we all put our paws down this week and said, “No selfies!”

Participation in the blog hop was off a bit last week due to Linky Tools being down for a hardware upgrade. We really appreciate those of you who were persistent and managed to join us.

PepiSmartDog did not disappoint last week. They shared a most incredibly beautiful and colorful bird, the Australian Pink and Grey Galah. Our brofur, Bailey Boat Cat, shared his lobsters (Russian hamsters), Thermidora and Bisque. Our super handsome friend, Charlie Rascal (Kjelle Bus), shared some incredible chickens, a good looking duck and a turkey with us. It is so much fun meeting these unusual participants. We’re excited to see who joins us this week. If you have any friends (irregardless of species) who you think might want to join us, please invite them on over.

Cat4-001As always, if you have trouble adding your link, leave us a Comment and Mom will try to do it for you. Grab the code below if you’d like to post the b hop on your blog. Just link back to The Cat on My Head and/or display our Sunday Selfies badge.

Upcoming Posts

We don’t normally post on Mondays, but we have something special for you so we’ll be back tomorrow. Stop back to get the instructions for some great DIY projects to help catify your house for your pampered pusses.

On Tuxie Tuesday, Mau will be here to share some super exciting Cat Scouts news with you. It’s a post you won’t want to miss.

Until then…toodles!

IGGY IGUANA’S SUNDAY SELFIE

As promised we have a guest host today for our Sunday Selfies Blog Hop, and here he is.

iguana

Iggy, what a huge mouth you have. We think you could swallow any one of us whole. We are happy that none of us met Iggy, a green iguana, in person.

Iggy’s photo was provided by some of our humans’ friends. The photo was taken in Anguilla.

So would you like to see another photo of this guy? Of course, you would.

iguana

We wonder who or what Iggy is yelling at. Maybe there’s an iguana vet just outside the photo telling him to say, “aah.” Whatever was happening, we think this fellow is pretty amazing.

Cat4-001This is our Sunday Selfies Blog Hop. We look forward to seeing what you all have to share with us this week. We encourage you to visit the other bloggers who join our hop, especially any you don’t already know. It’s always fun to make new friends.

If you want the hop submissions to show-up on your blog, use the code below. As a courtesy to your hosts—The Cat on My Head—please link back to us and/or display our badge. Many Thanks!
