Thoroughly Poetic Thursday
Kizmet has snuck in today’s inspiration photo for Teddy and Angel Sammy’s poetry challenge. My poem this week is a haiku.
Do you hear a noise?
Yes, sounds like rumbling thunder.
Did you feed the cat?

Thankful Thursday
The big thankful for this Thursday’s blog hop is that our e-mail post notifications are working, as most of you should know. I am definitely thankful for the absence of frustration and stress I was experiencing when it wasn’t working.
I also am thankful that I completed my 2000th Peloton ride last week.
Cooper Murphy is thankful for finding out he won the Easter Egg Hunt at Cat Scouts. He collected 50+ eggs and won an Amazon gift card and nip carrot. Both arrived in the mail today.
Finally, I was thankful to have had the opportunity to get to know Paula Gregg personally while in attendance at four Blog Paws conferences. In 2017 the two of us stayed up talking in her suite until after 1 a.m. I like to talk, but I couldn’t match Paula. She was an interesting and talented individual who contributed much to our community. She will be missed and remembered by all who knew her.
Check out that infectious smile!
To participate in the Thankful Thursday blog hop, which is hosted by Brian, post on your blog for what you are thankful. Then enter the URL listed on his badge in your browser to pop over to Brian’s Home and join the hop.
Thanks for joining us again today.
Cute poem. Congrats to Cooper for finding all those eggs. How blessed you are to have met Paula, I wish I had. XO
PS- congrats on 2000 Peleton rides! That is amazing. XO
Oh Kizmet, you made that poem and photo and good for you Sawyer! Those are really good thankfuls and a sweet tribute to Paula. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Love your haiku, never would have thought of that! Yay for your peleton ride and for Cooper Murphy winning at cat scouts egg hunt!
I just love how you added Kizmet into that image and wrote a poem about it. ute, funny and very original! LOL!
Congrats on ‘ride #2000’!!
Paula will be forever missed, and NEVER forgotten. The blogging world has lost an important and beloved member far too soon.
Way to go on your win, Cooper Murphy.
Paula did have such a wonderful smile. I didn’t know her, but there are lots of folks that love her.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. Scritches all around, a smooch to Cooper Murphy and Sawyer and a big hug to mom. ♥

“Did you feed the cat?” should be a line in every great piece of literature ever!
I met Paula a few years ago; she earned her angel’s wings much too soon.
Very cool haiku! Though I never met Paula, I felt like I knew her a little through online communication. A sad loss for all who love cats.
We did not know Paula but we DO know of her significant impact in the blog community and her wonderful friendships with so many. She absolutely had a most genuine and infectious smile….and we know she will be missed by everyone. As for your haiku – it’s perfect as is Kizmet peering over the shoulders of this couple!!! Well done……….too cute for words!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy too
Oh we LOVE that haiku. And a short poem is what goes with those two, we think. It’a sort of ho hum togetherness…
