Being a holiday, one might expect that Kitties Blue are taking advantage of the opportunity to relax.
But, this is exactly what they do everyday!

Sparks
My Spark today may not exactly represent Memorial Day, but I still found it appropriate for the current state of life in the USA.
History does seem fated to repeat itself. It may be in a slightly different manner, but I think we can all agree that the violence, racial profiling and anti-semitism currently plaguing our country as well as the war against Iran needs to end.
As we remember those who died for our freedom, I will be praying for peace in the United States and around the world.
Sparks is the creation of Annie from McGuffy’s Reader. It began as a blog hop, created by our friend. Annie stated when she began Sparks, “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world.”
The Adventures of Periwinkle & Stinky
Tomorrow our two adorable tabbies will be adventuring again. Their adventure will be a special one commemorating Memorial Day. They will be visiting a place most of you have probably never seen. You’ll be able to find them right here, and I know they will be looking for you. So, please plan to join them.
Our Angel Sawyer continues to live through these adventures as his alter-ego Stinky, and it would mean so much to Mom Sharon, Noelle and myself if you would continue to follow our two favorite, cartoon tabby cats.

Tom has a wonderful “cat filled blanket” – trapped but loving it. We can’t blog as you know and we miss that a lot. So far we can at least comment and we wanted everyone to know that we think your SPARK today is beyond PERFECT. Our hearts are heavy. Memorial Day is remembrance day and we do remember when the world looked to the USA as a kind and helpful place. We keep our hope alive for a return to that one day soon. We send all our blog friends a hug and hope for a peaceful Memorial Day.
