And the Christmas tree that suddenly toppled over …
Was not pushed by me but a marauding gopher.
I have no idea how these critters invade my space.
I never leave the cat door open or out of place.
Oh. dearest Santa, I’ve truly never ever been naughty.
So please bring me some toys from Jackson Galaxy.
And a big bag of nip to last a whole year …
Please, oh please, oh please Santa dear.
And some nommy treats would be totally pawsome.
I’d eat every one and not leave a crumb.
For I, the cat, have been as good as a cat can be.
So please don’t pass me by this Christmas Eve.
If you’ll stop by my house once again this year,
I promise to leave cookies and a bit of good cheer beer.
And as to next year, I raise my right paw
Yours truly, The Cat
p.s. Please don’t bring us any more kittens!

Charlee: “That is a wonderful letter to Santa! We know it will get a favorable reading from him!”
Too cute. And I’m sure the P.S. was heartfelt, LOL! I’m sure Santa Paws will have already visited and left goodies for everyone! Merry Christmas!!
Heeheehee! Brilliant.
I love it, especially the PS part. 🙂 XO

Well executed, and very cute.
And we aren’t buying it, no sirree!
However, Santa always has cats on the NICE list, since he loves felines.
Merry Christmas!
Happy Holidays!!!!
The poem made me laugh out loud. So catlike. Well done.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday and a very Merry Christmas. Scritches to all the kitties, a smooch to Cooper Murphy and Sawyer and a big hug to mom. ♥
We love your poem! And we sure do hope Santa pays attention to your very important postscript!
What a great letter to Santa Paws. And yes! No more kittens. MOL!
That was really great fun to read. That last line was a corker!
We love the poem AND the addition at the end.
The Florida Furkids with love and whisker kisses to Sawyer from Noelle
I love the poem. I’m sure Santa loves it, too.
Love the letter, and the PS is spot on!
Love it! I totally think Santa agrees that you all have done your “kitten duty” for the year so no doubt none of your packages will be meowing under the tree! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE and HAPPY CHRISTMAS DAY to our fabulous friends – wish we could give you a holiday hug in person.
Love, Pam and Teddy
Ahahaha that’s a pretty good letter! I’m sure Santa will be impressed!
