Caturday Art
The squirrels are pretty put out with us. Dad Tom took down the bird feeders and covered the bird baths due to this bird disease that is in several states, including Virginia (though not in our area).
They have taken to getting on the upper deck, which is partly open and coming down to the catio looking for food. Yesterday Astrid chased one up and down from upper deck to catio. Mr. Squirrel was on the handrail and Astrid on the stairs. He got away!
Our art today features one of our demanding interlopers. He’s on the pergola adjacent to the the catio. Kizmet is watching through the kitchen window. I think she looks super cute with her paw on the window.
As per usual, I went back to Painnt to create today’s art. I used the Leather effect with original color composition and the Grunge frame. Easy and simple.
Kizmet will be popping over to Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty’s blog to join her hop. If you’d like to participate, click on Athena’s badge.
Sunday Selfies Reminder
Tomorrow is our weekly blog hop, and all the Kitties Blue hope you’ll take a selfie and join us. We’d love to have our Sawyer as your host, but he’s still not home. It is heart wrenching to think we may not see him again, but we are not giving up. We continue to search and let more and more people know that he is missing. Dad Tom and I are thankful for each of you who continue to post about Sawyer and pray that our boy is found or finds his way home on his own.
Please, please join us tomorrow. We all love seeing your adorable faces!
Amazing art!
We are keeping our paws crossed that Sawyer will come home by himself or someone’s found him. Hugs.
We love this artwork so much. It’s wonderful.
We will not stop purring and praying and hoping for Sawyer’s safe return home.

Very pretty art. I am praying Sawyer will be home soon. XO
Beautiful photo. I have not heard of that about the birds. Praying for Sawyer to come home.
We have been advised to do likewise in Ohio. We are more worried about the wrath of the raccoons than the squirrels.
Purrayers still coming for Sawyer.
Kizmet those skwerls are just so bothersome we all want to grab one. Too bad they are so darn fast MOL. Purrs for Sawyer
I love your art this week! Our bird feeder is still up…probably time for the mom to put it away, though not many birds come to it.
Did you notice that with that effect, Kismet now has eyes in the back of her head? And if you sorta unfocus your eyes you can see a whole cat from the front. Now I can’t NOT see it, LOL!
Sweet photo with a great edit. The leather effect has so much texture in Kizmet’s fur.
Continuing to pray for Sawyer to return home to his family where he belongs, safe and sound.
Love the photo and art, purrs and 🙏🙏🙏 for Sawyers safe return 💞
Glorious image!
Purring for Sawyer to come home NOW!
Your squirrel art really is pretty. We love you Sawyer, please come home.
We love that photo of Kizmet watching the squirrel. We continue to say our prayer for Sawyer and send out “GO HOME” vibes. We won’t give up.
The Florida Furkids
We keep hoping to hear of Sawyer’s return, and we’re not giving up hope. Try to have a good weekend.
Your “local” squirrels don’t understand the lack of food I suppose…..we don’t have the bird disease in our area and hope it doesn’t come here. What we DO hope for is that Sawyer gets tired of his “walkabout” and walks himself right back home where he belongs!
Hugs, Teddy
I love that picture and the art effect is perfect for it.
I continue to pray for Sawyer to return home.
That is adorable art! I’m sad that Sawyer hasn’t come back yet.
We too have heard of that strange and mysterious bird disease. I have not stopped with feeding them as yet, because locally I have not heard anything about it. No bird peeps have been able to get a handle on what might be the cause or the cure for that matter.
Kizmet is so cute looking out the window like that.
Squirrels can be so bold and sort of rude when they don’t get their way…LOL!
Still sending Sawyer all the go home vibes we can transmit over the long miles…but if everyone does, maybe he will hear it.
Hoping and praying for his safe return.
