KINDNESS COUNTS

Sparks

I was unfamiliar with the author of today’s Spark and suspect you may be as well. Here’s a little info from Wikipedia. Father Lawrence G. Lovasik was an ordained missionary priest of the Society of the Divine Word. He founded the Sisters of the Divine Spirit, a missionary congregation of religious women, and the Family Service Corps, a secular institute devoted to charitable work for the sick, elderly and needy. Father Lovasik published more than 30 books and over 75 pamphlets, including prayer books, Bible stories for children, lives of the saints and catechisms.

The photo is one of Dad Tom’s He is growing a patch of sunflowers behind our back fence. This one is peeking over the fence.

Sparks began as a blog hop, created by our friend, Annie (McGuffy’s Reader). Annie is taking a “break” from blogging, so there is no hop. Many of us still continue to post a Spark on Monday, as we believe in Annie’s vision: “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!

Awww Mondays

Astrid adores her big brofur, Mau. I know he would rather be snuggling with his beautiful wife Allie, but Dad Tom and I appreciate that he indulges Astrid and she has his support and protection. They are joining the Awww Mondays blog hop hosted by Sandee at Comedy Plus. You can participate by clicking the badge below.

The Adventures of Periwinkle & Stinky

Tomorrow these two terrific tabbies will be right here to share one of their most exciting adventures yet. They are hoping, as they always do, that you will join them. In addition to telling you about their adventure, they have some incredible photos to share. Please don’t disappoint them by missing out. See you tomorrow!
