Thankful Thursday
We are starting with our thanks this week, as we have a really huge one. We kitties are thankful for our dad. He is the most fabulous cat dad, and we love him bunches. And we are celebrating Dad Tom today, as it is his birthday.
Mom is thankful for winning another Right Guesser badge on the Tuesday Teaser at Two Spoiled Cats.
And, as always, we are thankful for all our friends, followers and supporters. We appreciate you more than we can ever express.
Thankful Thursday is hosted each week by Brian. If you would like to participate, post on your blog for what you are thankful and then click on the badge below to go to Brian’s and share.
Thoroughly Poetic Thursday
For this week’s poetry challenge hosted by Teddy and Angel Sammy from Two Spoiled Cats, I not only used this week’s photo, which is below, but also built on last week’s photo, which is below my poem.
There is No Planet B
Found behind the abandoned house
In Lost Springs…population one
When the occupant left their house
They left this truck as well
Overtaken by trees and vines
Both interesting and beautiful
It shows disregard for our environment
Represents our throwaway society
Nothing in this world is permanent
Not even the world if we continue
To treat it with disrespect by littering
Using fossil fuels, polluting our air,
streams, rivers and oceans
Please reduce, repurpose, recycle, respect
Our world…save it for future generations

Happy birthday, Cat Dad Tom!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAT DADDY TOM! You really are an incredible Cat Dad that’s for sure and we hope you have a really fabulous day of celebrating that with your family. We also absolutely LOVE your tie-in poem with last week’s photo – beautiful “transition” from that one to this week’s. We thought that old truck would inspire and from what we’ve read around the poetic circle it did indeed do that. Thanks to you for being part of our weekly fun!
Love, Teddy and Mom Pam
