In celebration of Earth Day, I am sharing a few photos of our yard. We live in the city on a lot and a half, and so I have ample space for flower beds. I apologize for things looking rather untidy. I haven’t had much opportunity for gardening this spring.
The final photo is of Calista Jo enjoying a little of the local fauna…one of our resident squirrels.
Have a glorious day and please take good care of our earth by recycling, reusing and repurposing.
Thank you for visiting our blog after reading about us on Molly’s Share It Sunday. I wanted to come by to see all your beautiful cats, and I got distracted by the flowers (I love flowers). What a gorgeous yard you have!!! It doesn’t look untidy to me.
The cats, past and present, are all beautiful too!

Oh Dad says you have a beautiful yard. Very nice
Wowsers! Your yard is so incredibly lush and beautiful! Isn’t it amazing how things change so quickly after the winter months are finally through?!
Our Mama is just starting to clean things up in our little garden. Some of our plants didn’t survive the winter…but others look very well! 🙂
the critters in the cottage xo
Beautiful flowers. TW is enjoying them. She likes the dark ones. Can you believe she used to have black tulips? Humans needs to take better care of the Earth.
Your garden is beautiful, it’s a pretty living place ! Glad to see that Calista Jo enjoys Squirrel TV ! Purrs
How beautiful! So much color – so much green! We are having some nice rain so that will help to green things up here. Makes me happy! 🙂

What a GORGEOUS garden…….this may (or may not!) inspire my Mom to try AGAIN to plant bulbs that the squirrels and deer won’t dig up……a losing battle to date but a challenge nonetheless!
Hugs, Sammy
Your garden is absolutely beautiful. Looks like the squirrel TV is very entertaining.

Lovely!!
We just had an Australian visitor over the weekend and she was fascinated by our dogwoods and fruit trees. She said this was like out of a movie scene – they just don’t have this Down Under!
Wow, you’re yard is so pretty! We love the redbud trees. None of our flowering trees have flowered yet.
Happy Earth Day!
Everything sure is pretty! We love, love, love our planet! Happy Earth Day!!!

Beautiful pictures! You have a marvelous garden!!! I bet the kitties get to enjoy lots of “TV shows” with that kind of backdrop. Thank you for the Earth Day reminder – the three R’s are important!
Sending hugs to all, and special purrs and kitty-kisses to Astrid from Sampson.
Untidy?

“Untidy?” I think it is STUNNING! The flowers in Michigan aren’t blooming yet, nor the trees, wish they would soon!
