DO YOUR BEST & AN AWWW

Sparks

With the Winter Olympics currently being contested, I decided to choose a Spark appropriate to that event. I selected the following.

A photo of a sunset with a statue of the Olympic Rings with the following quote from H. Jackson Brown, Jr., "Life doesn’t require that we be the best, only that we try our best."

After creating that, I realized that today is President’s Day, and thought a Spark from one of our most influential and revered Presidents would be appropriate. Not surprisingly, I found a very similar quote from Abraham Lincoln.

A photo of Mt. Rushmore with the following quote from Abraham Lincoln, "I do the very best I know how - the very best I can; and I mean to keep on doing so until the end."

I know I usually try my best, and I expect all of you reading this do as well. Wouldn’t it be nice if all citizens did the same? I shared a Spark from H. Jackson Brown, Jr., just a few weeks ago. If you want to know more about him, click here.

Sparks is the creation of Annie from McGuffy’s Reader. It began as a blog hop, created by our friend. Annie stated when she began Sparks, “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world.”

Awww Mondays

The legs of a kitten under a piece of furniture doing its best to retrieve a yellow spring.

Springs are one of the kittens favorite toys. They have them spread throughout the house. I have no idea if this was Gibbs or Tali under the furniture retrieving that spring. Whichever one it is, that kitten is participating in the Awww Mondays blog hop at Comedy Plus. To do the same, click on the Awww badge.

The Adventures of Periwinkle & Stinky

Tomorrow our two, fun-loving tabbies will be waiting for you to join them on their latest adventure. You’ll be able to find them right here, as it is Stinky’s turn to plan their itinerary. He has shared with me that once again he has something special planned. That means you do not want to miss the opportunity to join them. I know they will be looking for you.

Our Angel Sawyer continues to live through these adventures as his alter-ego Stinky, and it would mean so much to Mom Sharon, Noelle and myself if you would continue to follow our two favorite cartoon tabby cats.

Thanks for stopping in to see us today. We always appreciate your visits and support.
