Caturday Art
I cannot resist a great tummy photo of Cooper Murphy, and he gives us plenty of opportunities to capture such photos. I took this one a couple of days ago after he hijacked Dad Tom’s chair at the kitchen island. This is just one of a series I snapped.
To create this art, I went to Painnt again. I used the Borda effect with the Grain Merge color composition. My next step was to use PicMonkey Textures to add one of the papyrus effects in the multiply mode. The border also is from PicMonkey.
I know you want to see the original photo of Cooper’s substantial and spectacular belly. He agreed but asks that you refrain from kissing or snorggling. The arty version of the photo is our entry in Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty’s Caturday Art blog hop. If you’d like to check out Athena’s art or find links to that of others, click on her badge.
Sunday Selfies Early Warning
Everyone here as been on their best behavior this week, so none of the Kitties Blue have any idea who will be coerced into snapping a selfie. Guess they’ll be surprised along with all of you who join us.
What they do know is that tomorrow we will remember and honor a sweet and beautiful, new angel, Kali, from The Canadian Cats. She was one of the founders of the Crotchety Cougars Club, of which our Lily Olivia was a member. Even if you don’t hop with us, we hope you’ll come by to honor Kali.
This art is SO cool – I love the purple effect! You did that only in Paint? That’s incredible!
Thanks for dropping the name of Canadian Cats as well – I’ve been poking around their site now for a few minutes (I’m Canadian and moved my cat to Belgium) so it’s interesting to read about other Canadian kitties.
Thanks for sharing your magical art skills!
We loved seeing how totally relaxed and unconcerned about anything Cooper Murphy is! Such a sweet big boy!
Terrific art…and even wonderful Cooper Murphy belleh! My hands are itching to get right in there…
Cooper…My Mom says she would NOT refrain from snorggles with a belly that beautiful! And your art is spectacular…we are going to have to try Paaint.

Mum says she really loves your belly, Cooper Murphy, which makes me a little jealous. However, your art is beautiful and purple is such a lovely colour (my mum’s fave).

Cooper Murphy, you have a real talent for displaying your tummy. We all thought Hemingway was good, but you are right up there! Love that soft, squishy, fluffy tummy!

You are a handsome cat with a great tummy. I’m glad mom loves to show it off too.
Have a purrfect weekend. My best to your mom. ♥
That effect really shows off your tummy stripes, Cooper Murphy!
You look purpley purrfect Cooper Murphy!
Sorry, Cooper Murphy, but that tummy just has to be kissed and snorgled! I must say, purple is definitely a great color for you!
Cooper Murphy your belly is deserving of a “showing off” – and as you know I am fond of displaying mine at every opportunity. We might just be known as the “Belly Up Twins” considering how much we prefer that position! I love this newest photo AND the artsy version too.
Hugs, Teddy
Very cool art!
Cooper Murphy, your human is furry talented to be able to make such beautiful portraits of you (of course, she has such excellent source material, you handsome mancat). OUR’S is quite hopeless at this kind of thing.
