Secret Paws 2017
As we have since we began blogging, we are participating in the Secret Paws gift exchange. This is coordinated by Truffle and Brulee’s mom, Paula, from Sweet Purrfections. We are most appreciative for her hard work in gathering all the information and assigning the Secret Paws.
Since it is a secret, we cannot tell you where or to whom we sent our gifts. And we have no idea what Mom sent, as we were not allowed to help with the wrapping for obvious reasons: 1) ripping the paper; 2) getting tape stuck in our furs; 3) chewing on ribbons; 4) trying to steal the gifts for ourselves and 5) spilling our guts and letting everyone know what we sent.
So here are some rather boring (and bad) photos of our wrapped gifts.
We have no idea who our Secret Paws is, as we have not received our gift yet. But Christmas is still six days away, and Mom won’t let us open our gifts until Christmas Day, so we aren’t worried about it. We’ll let you know all about our gift after Christmas as well as where we sent our package.
We told Mom that the Hello Kitty wrapping paper wasn’t a good enough cat representation for this post. So, here is our gratuitous kitten-in-a-box photo.
Last night was the first night Sawyer was not confined to the living room. When we went to sleep, he was sleeping on a pile of pillows atop the antique trunk at the end of Mom and Dad’s bed. You’ll have to wait until Thursday to find out how that experiment worked out, as tomorrow we’ll be wordless.
Purrs and paw-pats, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
That Secret Pawsthing looks like a great idea and lots of fun for the furs who get gifts…and send them away too:)
We have yet to pawticipate…maybe some time in the future:)

Ohhh Sawyer your Manxness is delectable!
Secret Paws is lots of fun. There’s always tension that the kitty isn’t gonna like what I pick out for them. In that case, TW picked it out. MOL! We do wrap most of what’s in the stocking. I know the kitty/kitties are gonna be disappointed TW didn’t use tissue paper this year.
Your mom did a great job wrapping everything. XO
Ooooh! I’ll take ten of those kittens in a box!
We haven’t yet allowed Da Boyz out of the parlor at night, but the day will come soon!
Somebody(ies) is/are going to have a very Merry Christmas! Love that picture of Sawyer! Such a cutie!
Some kitty is going to be very happy ! Purrs
Wow you sure are going to make some kitty (or kitties) super happy! We blogged about our gift too.
Oh my, I love wrapping paper!
Mommy and I just re-read your beautiful poems to your babies. She feels similarly toward all of hers through the years. I was a leaky eye moment to read but went straight to her heart.
Sawyer…spill! Tell us!
We finally mailed our Secret Paws package out yesterday…and then the mom realized she forgot to include something. Sheesh. She really needed us to do a quality control check before she sent it.
Well Mom didn’t do SECRET PAWS this year but I’m sure there are a lot of excited kitties everywhere just waiting to open their box of goodies they got from their SECRET friends! Sawyer – you have discovered the joy of boxes alright…just wait until Christmas when there are boxes and wrapping paper and ribbons and tissue EVERYWHERE! I’m excited about it too!
Hugs, Teddy
I’m looking forward to hearing about how things went with Sawyer!
