Caturday Art
With apologies to our friends over in Trout Towne, we present today’s art.
Hummingbirds come to our area as early as April, but they don’t seem to get to our yard until July. Currently we have two females coming to the feeder, the one in the photo and another about half its size.
As you might suspect, I did go back to Painnt to create this. The effect is called Rhody. I changed the hue from the original. And, of course, the rustic frame is from favpng.
I did make a puzzle as well.
Our little hummer will be jining the Caturday Art blog hop hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty. Click on Athena’s badge to see her art and find links to that of others.
Sunday Selfies Reminder
If you are like me and retired, you may have trouble keeping track of what day of the week it is. The only thing that keeps me from totally getting confused is this blog. I didn’t post on Friday due to some hosting issues and so thought yesterday was Saturday. Back on track, at least for the moment, I know tomorrow is Sunday, which means selfies and hopping.
As usual I have no idea who your host might be. I do know a couple of kittens, however, that are probably up to the job. Whichever of the Kitties Blue is here, they all hope you’ll join in the fun and post a selfie. This really is a great place to make new friends.
Hoping to see you tomorrow. Have a great Caturday.
That is a great capture of a hummingbird, they are so flat and tiny! I haven’t seen very many this year at all…but now that my trumpet creeper is blooming, as well as the bee balm, maybe I might see more.
That’s so beautiful! We love when hummingbirds come to visit us!
Oooo! I love hummers! This is pawsome! ~Ernie

What a pretty hummingbird picture! Happy Caturday to all!
We’ve had a busy summer with hummingbirds. They come in all sizes and we have a regular visitor that is the tiniest little hummingbird. Your art is beautiful!
Hummers are so nice to watch. Mom had tons of them in New Jersey but, try as they might, Mom and Dad could never get any here. We think it’s the ocean breeze that keeps them away.

That’s a really pretty hummer feeder…….beautiful art too!

The art is lovely and the frame is perfect for it.
OH, hummers! We don’t have them in our part of France but we do have strange little insects that buzz around imitating hummingbirds. Odd creatures.
