Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #93
I have taken on the responsibility of tackling the fill-ins this week. Kitties Blue don’t care a lick about what Chinese zodiac animal they are. They are cats, and that is that! As far as income taxes go, they only care that we pay ours so we don’t get hauled off to the hoosegow, making it impossible for us to wait on them hand to paw. And they also have no need for hindsight. What you see is what you get, and they’d never consider going back and doing anything differently.
1. My Chinese zodiac animal is the ox. The attribute of the ox is industriousness, which fits my personality as does the saying, “stubborn as an ox.”
2. My zodiac sign is Pisces. Dad Tom also is a Pisces.
Here are a couple of sites dealing with Zodiac animals and signs that you might find interesting.

3. Income tax season is a necessary pain in the @$$. It will be interesting to see what the 2019 tax season brings with the roll-out of new tax laws this year.
4. In hindsight, I wish I had borrowed money to continue my education after I received my bachelor’s degree. I’d like to have an MFA in either creative writing or poetry.
Friendly Fill-Ins is a blog hop hosted by Annie (McGuffy’s Reader) and Ellen (15 And Meowing). Each Thursday they post four partial sentences for participants to complete. The first two sentences this week, from Ellen, represent the Chinese New Year, which begins today. This is the year of the dog. I’m not going to mention that to Kitties Blue.
If you’d like to participate, visit Annie’s blog by clicking on the badge at the top.
The title of this post is a question. What’s your opinion?
The stubborn heads here are the peeps…they excel in that talent…if you want to call it that, petcretary says some peeps think she is just stuck in her ways…Pipo is the stubbornest kitty evfur when it comes to taking pictures, he rarely allows good ones…though he might relent, and then she has to be super quick to capture it!
Taxes??? Hisses and more hisses!
We do not deal with /astrological things…so no comments about that, MOL!
That’s funny, Claire got the ox too ! Great fill-ins ! Purrs
Interesting fill ins. I am a snake…I don’t mind paying taxes…they help pay for the Canadian Medical System and I sure had to use it this year when I got Ostiomylitis from Marv’s cat bite!
And I too think in hindsight that I should have taken the scholarship I won to the Sorbonne in Paris (instead of getting married) but if I had done that, I would not have my 2 sons…I have no regrets.
Love Barb
You’re not kidding that income taxes are a pain in the patooty! They are never ending and we’ve prepared around 100 returns so far so that cuts into our nap time. It’s not fair.
MOL! The mom’s Chinese zodiac sign is the GOAT! And Wally’s is the GOAT too!
A cat is small; a human can push ’em over, or slide ’em out of the way…but an ox…no way!

Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, they were definitely not cat friendly this week. My husband and mom both fall under the sign of the Ox too 🙂 I think cats may be more stubborn than an ox. I would love a MFA in creative writing too, but they are too costly.
You are an excellent poet so consider yourself having an Honorary degree from me.
Have a nice weekend! XO
There is nothing more stubborn than a spoiled cat…I know from experience.
Have a wonderful weekend…

This is my first week participating in Friendly Fill-ins. It’s been fun to explore my signs and to see what others are.
I’m thinking the cat is far more stubborn than the ox. Been my experience anyway.
Have a purrfect day and weekend. ♥
Don’t income tax stuff isn’t very popular here either. Hey, our Mom is a Pisces too!
My Chinese zodiac animal is the PIG – I happen to adore pigs! Teddy told me to fill out the fill-ins this week too because he isn’t interested in his “animal” – he’s a cat PERIOD. LOL Tax season? We hope our tax person is able to wave her magic wand over our paperwork and keep us EVEN which she’s managed to do for years now. We are most thankful – we get nothing back but owe nothing. At least one thing in my life is “balanced” !! Happy Friday………
Love, Pam (with Teddy’s snoopervision)
I’ve often wondered if my own stubbornness is the reason I love and admire cats so much. I think with both of mine … there’s a mutual understanding and acknowledgement that we are the same spirit animal.
