Sparks
This Sparks post has another quote sent to me by my California friend, Jenn. I love silence and crave it often, especially when Misty May cranks up her full-throated caterwauling. And I rarely feel lonely, but with Kitties Blue, I am never really alone. With so many of us rarely leaving the house since the beginning of the pandemic, I feel quite fortunate to have Kitties Blue and to enjoy being at home. I pray those who are suffering from loneliness can find comfort in their solitude.
As we have been reminding you for months, Sparks is the creation of Annie from McGuffy’s Reader. Sparks began as a blog hop, created by our friend. Annie stated when she began Sparks,“I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world.”

The Adventures of Periwinkle & Stinky
Tomorrow Stinky and his girlfriend, Periwinkle, will be off on another of their exciting adventures. You’ll be able to join them right here tomorrow as they celebrate Tocktober. Please don’t disappoint them by missing out on the fun!
Great spark. Some days silence can be cherished, others it seems isolating.
Perfect photo of Sawyer. A couple days ago Raven had two bits of food on her upper lip and it looked like fangs. Unfortunately, there was no way I could get a photo of her.
Sawyer is a cutie. Great spark. I love silence, the only thing better is a cat’s purr. XO
That is a very thoughtful Spark – especially during the pandemic.
I love the sound of silence. I also love the sounds of my sweetie sleeping along with Lucy’s little snores alongside!
Dad agrees with you about the odd imposition of being home all the time that the world has thrust on us all. He says with us around he never feels lonely and is never alone. Yeah one of us is up his patootie all day long. Love that photo of Sawyer
Mom doesn’t care for silence inside the house so we have music playing usually. Shoko has her own album on the computer and mom has her faves. Silence is great for walks and playing in the garden though.
Tyebe
Oh, I just love that spark! Sawyer, that is one cute photo, lick your nose silly!
Purrsonally, I like a quiet house.
The Hubby, on the other hand, always has the radio on or the TV.
But, one thing we agree on: we’ll always have cats!
That’s really a good Spark and you look pretty cute there Sawyer!
I love Sawyers nom smeared nose. I just love Sawyer period.
I’m rarely lonely and do enjoy quiet times too. Many are struggling and we both know that.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches to all the kitties and a big hug to the mom. ♥
When you have cats, you are never alone. Though having some quiet time is always appreciated. We think Sawyer is saving those noms for later. 😉
Mom says she doesn’t know what she would do without our company.
Noelle wants to come over and help Sawyer with those noms. She can’t wait for tomorrow.
The Florida Furkids
Cute pic of Sawyer saving noms for later! I have always enjoyed my quiet time alone and I’m grateful for that.
I think it’s very smart of Sawyer to “save” a little treat on his nose for a snack later. It’s a good spot to keep it. Unless of course your Mom catches you and wipes your nose off not realize you’re SAVING IT FOR LATER!!!!!!! My Mom says she’s like you Miss Janet – not really minding being at home more as she loves our house and yard and living QUIETLY.
Hugs, Teddy
Luv that nom-smeared nose Sawyer!
The no social life stuff is tuff on da momma. Along wif her business being pretty much ruined by COVID – ugh, it are no fun.
Oh, yes, Silence! It can be a blessing for sure at times…but sometimes it seems to be deafening…like when you want desperately to chat with someone…but you are left alone with your thoughts…then I turn on lovely music to calm myself, and to not feel the heavy silence so much.
But yes, silence in a peaceful home is a real solace most of the time…kitties meowing or doggies barking or not:)
