Feline/Friendship Friday
Sawyer’s been napping a bit more lately, as he’s been eating his noms, which contain his meds. The phenobarbital and Keppra do make him sleepy. Dad Tom and I have no way of predicting when he will or won’t eat, and we often end up throwing out several bowls of food each day. So when he does decide to eat, we are thrilled, and we tell him what a good boy is!
Snoozy Sawyer is joining the blog hops at Comedy Plus (Feline Friday) and Create With Joy (Friendship Friday). You can do the same by clicking the links.
Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #306
I am overjoyed that both Misty May and Sawyer stepped up to help me with the fill-ins this week. My goal continues to be having Kitties Blue complete all the fill-ins each week. It’s not that I am lazy, but this desire goes along with me adding one or more of the gang to the Thoroughly Poetic Thursday inspiration photo. The intent is for this blog to be about the cats; and though, it is for the most part, I want to emphasize that as much as possible. (If you haven’t already, check out Lisbeth in yesterday’s inspiration photo and the accompanying poem, “Please Be My One & Only.”)
But without further ado or explanation, here are their completions and mine. All three of us used teal italics.
1. Misty May: I waste a lot of time whining and complaining.
2. Sawyer: At this very moment, I’m craving treats. (What a surprise!)
3. Don’t dismiss sharing your life with pets until you adopt one or more.
4. Living with cats makes life interesting.
Friendly Fill-Ins is a blog hop hosted by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs). They post the four sentences to be filled in on their blogs each Thursday. To join the hop, click on the Fill-Ins badge.
Thanks for joining us today. We’ll be back tomorrow with some Caturday Art.
so good to see and hear about Sawyer doing better- we all love Sawyer! Have a great weekend! PS Purrfect fill-ins!
Hugs and kisses to you all. Sorry we are not coming here more often. The secretary is very busy with her extra-curricular activities and work.
Just a thought since I throw out food all the time. I noticed that the food that has a lot of gravy might be good if Sawyer is not eating. Our cats will at least lick up the gravy, which is something.
Have you tried an appetite stimulator for Sawyer? Maybe he would eat more of the medicine laced food that way. I love all your answers, especially 3 and 4. Have a nice weekend. XO
Kitties do make the world a better place. Try to eat your food, Sawyer. We all worry about you.
Love your fill-ins. I’ve had many kitties in my lifetime. Always loved kitties.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Scritches all around, a smooch to Cooper Murphy and Sawyer and a big hug to mom. ♥
That is a cute sleepy picture of Sawyer! It’s good that he’s eating his mom’s and getting his meds. Good fill-in answers, too!
You do look happy and cozy sweet Sawyer. Those were really good fill-in answers too!

Enjoy your snooze, Sawyer!
Sawyer, we continue to purr for you!
I met a woman yesterday, who said she won’t adopt any more pets because their passing is too hard.
I suggested, then, that she go up the the cat cafe, and enjoy cats then walk away.
She looked at me with skepticism, however I think I planted a seed of interest.
My sister has said the same thing to me; when their old doggo goes, she won’t get another.
We’re always happy to hear that Sawyer is eating! Raz was very happy to see his answer to the Fill-ins!!! Noelle wishes she was there snoozing alongside him.
The Florida Furkids with love and whisker kisses to Sawyer from Noelle
Sawyer is a good boy – eating better means more medication which means less chance of a seizure! YAY! That makes me AND my Mom very happy.
Hugs, Teddy
Hooray for sawyer eating…and taking his meds.
We chuckled at his fill in answer!
Living with cats…or any pets, really…for sure makes life interesting…and full of a lot of good times and happiness.
Oh, you are so right. Kitties make our world go ’round, that’s a fact! And good for Sawyer, eating his meds. Mama has to disguise mine with a little melted duck fat….
