Thoroughly Poetic Thursday

The inspiration photo for today’s poem is so great, it probably deserved a better effort from me. But it also is one of those photos that doesn’t need words to be enjoyed and marveled at.

Clothes sway in the breeze
Do all these flats lack closets
Or is it wash day?

Thoroughly Poetic Thursday is hosted by our good friends, Teddy and Angel Sammy (Two Spoiled Cats). Each week Angel Sammy writes a fab poem and transmits it from the Rainbow Bridge to Teddy. Participants post a link to their poem or the entire poem in the Comments area on the ginger boys’ post. To visit, click on the badge below.

Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for all of you who visited yesterday and left comments on our “Remembering Fiona” post. It warms my heart that so many of our friends loved our special girl. I have an 8 X 10 canvas print of her gorgeous face on our dresser next to her urn, so I can see her everyday.

I am grateful for picking up another Right Guesser badge on the Tuesday Teaser, also at Two Spoiled Cats.

Though the tree is not up yet, I also am thankful to have the majority of the other Christmas decorating completed.

Sawyer and Mau are thankful for the gift of the kitty advent calendar from Noelle and Allie (Friends Furever). Being generous members of a large kitty family, they are kindly sharing heir treats.

Finally, Kitties Blue and I are thankful for all our friends, supporters and participants in our Sunday Selfies blog hop.

Thankful Thursday is a blog hop hosted by Brian. To participate, post on your blog for what you are thankful then click on Brian’s badge to pop over to his place and enter your link.

MOL! That’s an interesting take on that photo. We hope it’s wash day and not permanently like that.

Our mom has been woefully negligent in remembering to open the doors of our calendar and give us our treats. Today we got 3 days worth!

That was a fun poem. Poor Prancie can’t chew the treats in the calendar so Joanie and Emmy have been “helping” her. XO

We’re so happy you like your Advent calendar. We haven’t had any problem with the treats being hard. Ours are soft but Mom does break them up for us.

Good job on the poem today for what to us is a hilarious photo!! Looks like your Advent Calendar is a big hit – have read that the treats are hard as bricks but then again that means they’re probably good for keeping teeth clean!!! Thanks for being Poetic with us every week.

Hugs, Teddy
