Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #185
Friendly Fill-Ins is a weekly blog hop hosted by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs). Each week Ellen and Lorianne select two sentences to be completed by participants. They post these on their blogs on Thursday, and we hop on Friday. The hop is at Four-Legged Furballs. You can get there by clicking the badge at the left.
This week Kitties Blue offered me no help. They allowed me to do all four fill-ins. I used teal italics for my fill-ins. Any explanatory information is in parentheses.
1. I look forward to seeing a movie at the holidays. (This year I hope to see Cats.)
2. I can see our neighbors’ outside Christmas lights from my our kitchen and bedroom windows.
3. Listening to Christmas Carols always puts me in a festive mood. (Singing them also makes me happy, but I can’t carry a tune, so my singing puts a damper on everyone else’s festive mood.
4. My favorite holiday tradition is watching the electric meter spin around wildly after I turn on all the Christmas lights.
Each of these fill-ins actually represent my second choice as a completion. If you are interested in my first choice, let me know in the Comments. I will e-mail you privately.
Feline & Friendship Friday
Mau and Astrid are hopping along with both Comedy Plus for Feline Friday and Create With Joy for Friendship Friday. To join them, click on the badges beneath their photo.

Astrid loves to snuggle with her big brother, Mau. He usually indulges her, but as you can see from the expression on his face, he was “over it.”
Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins, and I’m sorry I’m visiting so late! Shame on me for my tardiness. Your fill-ins are fantastic. How lovely that you can see your neighbors’ Christmas lights from your windows. None of my direct neighbors have decorated this year, and sometimes I feel tempted to sneak out and do it for them in the middle of the night. Purrs!
Would love to know your first choices.
Oh, what a good idea…movies! I’ll have over a week off from work, so there will be lots of time to go to movies! Weee!
Astrid and Mau are such cuties. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers.
I sympathize with the singing- I only sing at home. Even my great niece covers her ears when I sing. 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend. XO
What a sweet pic of Astrid and Mau. The mom wants to see Cats too…but she rarely goes to a theater nowadays…she may have to wait for it to come out on DVD.
That is a lovely photo of Astrid and Mau together.
I would like to see Cats the film, but I saw the theatre production in London years ago soon after it opened. The effects were sensational and so often the film doesn’t live up to the hype of the original and I wouldn’t want it to let me down. I think I will wait for the reviews from the ordinary cinema goers rather than the critics.
I love seeing snuggling kitties! I like your answers but now I’m curious as to your first ones!
I would love to know what your first choices was for the fill-ins.
Aw on Mau and Astrid. I linked them for you. Great choice today.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Big hug to your siblings and a big hug to your mom. ♥
I’m looking forward to seeing CATS too over the holidays. Not that I don’t have enough of them at home! Okay, Janet. You have peaked my curiosity. Send me your original answers. Merry Christmas to you and Tom and the Kitties Blue.
We did enjoy your answers and that really is a fun photo!
Mom loves the lights and decorations and music too. We’ve gone to all LED lights so the electric meter isn’t spinning too fast.
Allie wishes that was her!
The Florida Furkids with smoochies and love to Mau from Allie and paw pats and headbonks to Sawyer from Noelle.
Patience Mau……snuggling with one of your sisters is just one of those things I think you “must” do! I’m sure if I had a brother or sister I’d have to tolerate that as well. I’m just not much of a snuggler unless it’s with Mom!
Hugs, Teddy
