Feline Friday

Tali and Gibbs are never far from my side.
Tali will be participating in the Feline Friday blog hop at messymimi’s meanderings. To do the same, click on the badge below.
Friendly Fill-Ins
The Friendly Fill-Ins blog hop is hosted each Friday by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs). They publish the fill-in sentences on their blogs each Thursday. To participate in the hop, click on the badge at the left. I had some much needed help this week from Audrey for which I am very grateful. We both used teal italics to fill in the blanks. Any explanatory information is in parentheses.
1. I don’t enjoy cooking anymore, but I appreciate those that do.
2. Audrey: Lately, I don’t get enough treats, as Sawyer isn’t here for me to steal his.
3. Being mugged when I was in college scared me away from walking outside by myself at night; though, I did it many nights looking for Sawyer when he was missing. (For decades, if I was walking alone [even it broad daylight], I would panic if I heard footsteps approaching behind me.)
4. The eight kittens dumped in our alley forced me to learn how to bottle feed them and be their foster mom.
Thank you for stopping by to see us today. We will be back with some Caturday Art tomorrow.

Ooh this made me SMILE. What a wonderful shot!!
Tali loves her mama, thank you for linking her up with Feline Friday.
I don’t blame you for not wanting to cook any more, neither do I most of the time.
Chaplin: “Awww, we can hear the purring from here!”
Charlee: “We can tell from your answers there just how much you loved Sawyer to go out looking for him at night. You deserve every single one of those purrs you’re getting!”
Such a sweet photo. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am sorry you got mugged in college. That must have been traumatic. XO
Had to giggle a little when you stated that the kittens “forced” you to do that. We all know you couldn’t do anything BUT that because of the wonderful person you are.
Such sweet kitten love! Those were good answers and you were the perfect foster Mom for them.
Post-traumatic stress, for sure.
Completely understandable.
Having a sleeping cat on one’s body is part of the joys of life.
What a sweet photo. It’s a great feeling to have a cat or cats lying on you. But it does make it difficult to get up if you have to. 🙂
Sweet napping photo. We didn’t know you were mugged. That had to be super scary!
Noelle sends forever love to Angel Sawyer.
Getting mugged must be terrifying and certainly would change how I’d feel about walking alone too. I’m getting less enthused about cooking as I’ve gotten older too – so much time planning, cooking, cleaning up etc. then so little time EATING….I’d rather go out to eat quite honestly! Just for the record – we think you did an AMAZING job giving those little abandoned kitties from the alley a wonderful start in life!!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
I agree with Pam a million percent regarding the babies you found in the alley! You are a hero in my eyes!
WOW, those were very thought-stimulated fill ins. LOVE THE PHOTO!!!!!!!! Lovely lady with kitty! So glad you suirvived the mug…wow.
Tali is very sweet. I would be scared too if I had been mugged.
I don’t enjoy cooking any more either. I still do basic cooking, but the extreme fatigue all the time means I am too tired to eat what I have cooked. We tend to eat out a lot now.
Nice cozy nap time, even with a ‘device’! LOL!
Wow, being mugged is SCARY!
Best napping companions ever!
