MORNING FACE WASH & A SPARK

Awww Mondays

A blonde lady with a grey cat washing her face.

Kizmet always thinks my face needs washing and usually does it several times a day. Gibbs has now joined in that ritual. I am either going to have the cleanest or the rawest face. Too bad all that scouring will not remove the wrinkles.

Kizmet will be purrticipating in the Awww Mondays blog hop hosted by Sandee at Comedy Plus. If you would like to join her there, click on the Awww badge.

Sparks

A quote from Jack Layton: "My friends, love is better than anger. Hope is better than fear. Optimism is better than despair. So let us be loving, hopeful, and optimistic. And we’ll change the world," on the background of six cute bunnies and flowers.

The author of today’s Spark, John Gilbert “Jack” Layton  (1950-2011) was a Canadian politician, educator and activist. He was the leader of the New Democratic Party from 2003 until his death in 2011.

I suspect you are wondering why bunnies are presenting today’s Spark. Easter is only a few weeks away, and they are totally adorable as well as appear to be friends. As the current state of the world leaves much to be desired, they have just as much chance of changing it as we humans do.

Sparks is the creation of Annie from McGuffy’s Reader. It began as a blog hop, created by our friend. Annie stated when she began Sparks, “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world.”

The Adventures of Periwinkle & Stinky

Tomorrow our two, sweet and lovable tabbies will be waiting for you to join them on their latest adventure. You’ll be able to find them right here, as it is Stinky’s turn to arrange their itinerary. He’s planned something totally fun. That means you do not want to miss the opportunity to join them. I know they will be looking for you.

Our Angel Sawyer continues to live through these adventures as his alter-ego Stinky, and it would mean so much to Mom Sharon, Noelle and myself if you would continue to follow our two favorite, cartoon tabby cats.

Thanks for stopping in to see us today. We always appreciate your visits and support.
