HAPPY INTERNATIONAL CAT DAY

We did not do anything special this year to celebrate, but you can find some ways to do just that by checking out the web-site, New Eleven.
If you missed the post two years ago when Periwinkle and Stinky celebrated International Cat Day by inviting blogging kitty friends from all over the world here to Virginia for a huge party, check out “The Adventures of Periwinkle & Stinky: Part CXCVI.”
We do wish all our kitty friends a purrfect day filled with love, cuddles and extra treats!
Feline Friday
Kizmet believes no other kitty can possibly knock her off this pedestal nor replace her as Kitties Blue super meowdel. I have a tendency to agree with her!

Kizmet looks so stunning she thought you might like a bonus puzzle featuring her.

Friendly Fill-Ins
The Friendly Fill-Ins blog hop is hosted each Friday by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs). They publish the fill-in sentences on their blogs each Thursday. To participate in the hop, click on the badge at the left.
I was left all on my own to complete the fill-ins this week. Thankfully, they were not too difficult. As I always do, I used teal italics for my fill-ins. Explanatory information is in parentheses.
1. Anyone who can play a stringed instrument is a genius in my book.
2. I find baseball boring. (I equate it to watching paint dry. The other spectators are always more interesting.)
3. I wish I had anyone’s ability to run or jog. (I have never been able to do either of these due to my neuromuscular disease.)
4. Reading often distracts me from everything else.
So that’s it for today. Thanks for popping in to see us. We’ll be back tomorrow with some Caturday art and another puzzle.

Kizmet is definitely a beauty
Kizmet, you look regal on your royal post. I know lots of people find baseball boring because of the lack of action. My son played it from grade school into high school and I always enjoyed those games. I coached him a lot, too.
While I CAN run, I don’t enjoy it. I have usually only run for a purpose, such as chasing a horse, running away from boys chasing me, and now, catching Chia!
Kizmet is beautiful. Thank you for the puzzle. And thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I had the same for #2. 🙂 XO
Kizmet, you are such a beauty! I enjoyed your fill-in answers and I guess I’m a genius LOL! I can play the harp, violin, guitar, banjo and ukulele.
Your answer to #4: yes yes YES!
Kizmet’s photo is amazing!
Wow, you look gorgeous!
I agree about stringed instruments.
Reading is the best, isn’t it.
Kizmet, you are a delight to see and I thank you for joining Feline Friday.

kismet, berry sultry!
Kizmet is beautiful!

Kizmet is a beautiful model. I agree with all your fill ins this week. I can’t jog or run any more and have difficulty walking due to the total numbness in my feet, which in turn has made my balance very poor.
Grrr! I copy and pasted my link, but I had copied something previously so tried to change to my url and it posted before I had time to do that, not once but twice!

Stunning portrait of Kizmet for sure, and good fill-ins. Happy International Cat Day to all.
I hope you don’t envy me…I used to play the violin…can’t anymore due to arthritic issues…I got my Grade seven at the RCMT of which there are ten grades before getting to the last, level which is the teaching certificate after which you can go to get higher degrees at music schools, so I wasn’t top notch, but I did enjoy it. I started out in highschool,, then I took private lessons for many years until I got married.
Kizmet is drop dead gorgeous on her pedestal!!
I used to find baseball boring until I learned all about the strategies and how the players do what they do…my sons got me interested! Go figure!
Running is a no no for me too…I can walk quite s=fast, but if I run, then the next day my hips hurt and I can hardly walk…it gives me bursitis…sigh…yet another aging issue!(Though this has been a problem for many years.)
I loved your poem yesterday, very clever and it made me grin!
