Thoroughly Poetic Thursday
Teddy, Angel Sammy (Two Spoiled Cats) and their mom, Pam, continue to find incredible photos each week to serve as our inspiration to write a poem. This week’s photo is no exception.
Gratitude
I am feeling small and insignificant
Perched in the crevice of this ancient tree
But amazed by its grandeur and beauty.
I am grateful to live in this incredible world
God has created for our use and pleasure.
I pray we will not ruin it for our offspring.

Thankful Thursday
Though we have had a cwappy week, due to major construction issues, we still have much for which we are thankful.
- This is our 1900th post.
- We were one of five First Commenters on the Tuesday Teaser at Two Spoiled Cats and we knew the location of the Teaser photo. We earned these two badges. Weee!
- Even with our construction woes and ridiculously slow progress, a unique element, which is being created for us by a local artist is underway. This is one of three panels he is creating in mosaic on exterior garage walls. This panel is complete but not grouted.
Thankful Thursday is a blog hop hosted by everyone’s good friend, Brian. To participate, post for what you are thankful, then click on Brian’s badge to add your link to the hop.
That pane is amazing! I love it. Great poem. Congrats on being a first commenter and being right 🙂 XO
Wow! That panel is going to be fabulous on your garage. So unique! Loved your poem too.
We love your poem and Wow wasnt it so fun to get those two wonderful badges! Love the panels and hope to see them completed
Cool mosaic panel! I can’t wait to see the finished result!
Oooh, I love art! Cannot wait to see your completed mosaics. The Hubby thinks we should make our own, using cement and found items, marbles and whatnot. I think DIY mosaic is for the birds!
I love your poem as always and that mosaic is awesome. I want one. Oh wait, I can’t afford that.
Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. Big hug to your mom. ♥
Great poem for an amazing tree! And — WOW — love your garage mosaic!

The Florida Furkids with smoochies and love to Mau from Allie and paw pats and headbonks to Sawyer from Noelle
That was such a special poem and that mosaic sure is pretty. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Oh wow, that mosaic is beautiful! I am looking forward to seeing all three panels when they are finished.
I like your poem too about that huge tree.
I also got two badges. We stopped at Mahone Bay on a ship’s tour from Halifax to Lunenburg during a Canada/New England cruise a few years ago.
Excellent poem with an important message…..we can only hope our environment will allow trees to grow this big well into the future and it’s up to US to make sure that happens! We think that first of three mosaics is an amazing work of art – and a most personal touch to the new garage and your outside “view” that you will enjoy for many years…..very VERY cool!!
Hugs, Teddy and Mom too
Wow! That sure is a humongous tree!
What a cute poem to go along woth it:)
And we love your mosaic! We saw some cool figures in it…including a mouse!?! Coolio!
