Sparks
A few days ago, I saw a terrific quote about aging. Unfortunately I did not copy it, and have been unable to find it again. When searching I found the following quote about gratitude, which “spoke” to me.
The author of today’s Spark, Darby Leigh Stanchfield is a 52-year-old, American actress.
Sparks is the creation of Annie from McGuffy’s Reader. It began as a blog hop, created by our friend. Annie stated when she began Sparks, “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world.”

Overheard Conversation:
Cooper Murphy: “Kizmet have you seen Periwinkle? I think she’s late.”
Kizmet: “No, I haven’t. Hey, Stinky, where’s Periwinkle? I was hoping we could have a little girl talk today.”
Stinky: “Is this some kind of April Fool’s Day joke? You two are a day early. She comes on Tuesdays. And if you stick yourselves in the teleportation tunnel tomorrow, you are going to get a face full of grey, tabby fur accompanied by black eyes and broken noses. That tunnel is powerful!”
Cooper Murphy: “Yikes, that sounds dreadful! And it’s no joke, we just got our days mixed up. And I sure am happy we did.”

The Adventures of Periwinkle & Stinky
That’s right, tomorrow is the special day when Periwinkle and Stinky set out on a new adventure. Stinky has his thinking cap on, and here’s hoping he comes up with a great plan for tomorrow. A bit embarrassing to have picked the wrong day, however it does show eagerness.
I like the SPARK. I really have been focusing on being grateful – the older I get the more I appreciate every minute I have. As we’ve said before, worrying is wasted time…”what will be – will be” so be happy for the time we’ve been blessed with. We’ll be anxious to see what adventure Periwinkle and Stinky will have tomorrow!
