Sunday Selfies: Week #584
With Halloween just a few days away, I decided to enhance Calista Jo’s selfie with a holiday-appropriate frame.
I am not a fanatic about Halloween as many are. We do have a pumpkin on the front porch, and I have a few decorations. The decoration this year, however, remain in a plastic tub in the garage. With kitten care and physical therapy, decorating just didn’t make my list of priorities.
So that’s what we have to share for selfies this week. C.J., the other Kitties Blue and I hope you will share one with us and all your other friends here on the hop. Even if you don’t normally post on Sundays, you can still take part in the hop. It always remains open through Thursday.

That’s a fantastic selfie. Over the years, we’ve done less and less for Halloween. There aren’t many children coming around anymore, so it’s a challenge to get excited about it.

Charlee: “Our Dada loves Halloween but he is also not much for the decorations. We have a foam pumpkin with a candle inside and that’s the only thing we usually have out, and what with the upcoming termite tenting this week, I’m not sure we will even do that. I guess he figures the house being dressed up like a circus tent might be enough of a decoration on its own …”
I lost the thought of Halloween specialness when I was a young teen. But I helped all my kids with it. I’m a spoil sport!

For not being a Halloween fanatic, you did a fantastic job with Calista Jo’s picture! Yes, sometimes life circumstances have to take priority over decorating. If it wasn’t for Jeff having some friends over this week, I still wouldn’t have my fall and halloween decorations down from the attic and out in the house. Funny how company coming is a great motivator, LOL!
