Sparks: Week #23
Astrid is always true to herself; though, she’s not much for engaging with others.
Eleanor (Ella) Laura Davan Mills (née Woodward) is an English food writer and entrepreneur under the brand Deliciously Ella. She has a blog at deliciouslyella.com.
Astrid and I are joining Annie at McGufffy’s Reader for her Sparks blog hop. In establishing the hop, she wrote this, “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!” This is what makes Sparks so special and why I look forward to participating each week.
If you’d like to join the hop, click on the Sparks badge.
Followers are always great, but critics…sometimes not so much if they don’t criticize in tactful and helpful ways…cause well, sometimes you do need a critic to help you through things…petcretary says so, MOL!

Yes, we do need to be true to ourselves and strive to be the best version of ourself. I would agree to ignore the critics whose goal is to hurt or tear down….but to embrace those critics who are able to offer constructive criticism (aka: advice) in a caring manner. And, always engage with others!
Good and practical advice. You should always follow your heart. Even though, there will always be critics. Astrid is adorable. Hugs.
Aww … being yourself is the best gift you can give others, Astrid!
Great spark and photo to accompany it. I will check out her blog.XO
Very wise words ! Purrs
Another excellent quote!
Excellent Spark, Astrid. Critics can be very demotivating, but followers always lift you up 😀 Pawkisses for a Happy Day 🙂 <3
Beautiful Astrid, so good to see you this morning! We love your spark today!
Well, maybe being true to yourself means not engaging. 😉
An excellent Spark. Much less conflict.
Have a purrfect day. My best to your mom. ♥

The Florida Furkids with bazillion smoochies and tons of love to Mau from Allie
That is very wise, Astrid!
Amen to that, such a terrific Spark!
Yep – good advice alright. Being true to ourselves is where it starts. Hopefully others understand but if they don’t…..well……we just have to carry on!
Hugs and Happy Monday

I love engaging my followers! Do you know, when I was at the pet store the other day, someone saw me who met me at the cat show a couple of weeks ago! Isn’t that awesome?
