AWWW … IT’S MONDAY & A SPARK

Awww Mondays

White and black cat stretched out full length with his mouth open as if he is saying, "awww."

Gibbs will be purrticipating in the Awww Mondays blog hop hosted by Sandee at Comedy Plus. You can join him on the hop by clicking on the Awww badge.

Sparks

I did not have anything particular in mind for today’s Spark. When that happens, I just start searching through the web-site Brainy Quotes until something catches my eye and speaks to me, as the one for today did.

A torbie cat napping in a sunpuddle with a quote from John Harold Johnson, "Dream small dreams. If you make them too big, you get overwhelmed and you don't do anything. If you make small goals and accomplish them, it gives you the confidence to go on to higher goals."

I find this to be exceptionally good advice. I am certain Audrey is dreaming how to score just a few extra treats … not the entire container.

The author of today’s Spark, John Harold Johnson (1918–2005) was an American business executive and publisher. He was the founder of the Johnson Publishing Company. The company’s creation of Ebony and Jet magazines made it the most influential African-American media business in the latter half of the twentieth century.

Sparks is the creation of Annie from McGuffy’s Reader. It began as a blog hop, created by our friend. Annie stated when she began Sparks, “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world.”

The Adventures of Periwinkle & Stinky

Please don’t forget to join your two favorite adventuring tabby cats tomorrow. You’ll be able to find them right here. I do not have a clue as to what Stinky has planned, but I know you won’t want to miss it. So, I hope you will plan on adventuring with them.

Our Angel Sawyer continues to live through these adventures as his alter-ego Stinky, and it would mean so much to Mom Sharon, Noelle and myself if you would continue to follow our two favorite, cartoon tabby cats.

Thanks for stopping in today. We always appreciate your visits and support.
